The location was convenient. We traveled to Glacier NP and it was a very easy ride and great location for that. The breakfast was plentiful and staff working the breakfast were very good. The view was nice.

Cool architecture/decor. Great location with easy access to downtown - just a couple minute walk. Room was nice and dark and fairly quiet. Loved the happy hour in the restaurant and the free live music. Very cool rooftop lounge with fire pits.

The hotel was very cute and clean and had lots of personality! I love how each unit either had a hammock or a table outside the room, it was a nice addition.

This is my go-to spot when I'm in Whitefish. The Duck Inn is in a beautiful and tranquil location and Mark and staff go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The beds are very comfortable and the homemade breakfast is the best! Every time I've had a wonderful visit! I'll be back!

As the gateway to the Glacier National Park for both winter and summer activities its a great location. The downtown area has been preserved with great restaurants and bars and the local Great Northern pub is perfect for a friendly beer to watch some sport. Give the team at Whitefish Outfitters a call for some wild winter or summer activities. If commuting in on the train, the station is only a block from town and a couple of blocks from the accommodation options. Come for a weekend or a full week, plenty to see and do.

We loved the many river parks on Whitefish River and dog-friendly moderate hikes. The alpine slides were very fun too. Beautiful mountain town with lots of opportunities for hiking, boating, swimming, and mountain biking.

There were a lot of restaurant choices all within walking distance of each other. Town was very nice with parks, hikes, and rivers to explore. Very nice place to start your tour of Glacier National Park.
I loved this hotel. It was great at all levels. At first glance, I didn’t expect it to be as quaint and lovely as it was. The rooms are carefully “crafted” to be almost boutique, with very nice touches given the nature of most mainstream hotels. It was a good value given that it was peak summer tourist season in Whitefish. The staff — particularly, but not only the friendly owner — were exceptional, and the owner gave me great recommendations for two restaurants that were excellent. I’d definitely recommend this place highly.
This stay was amazing from the minute we pulled into the parking lot. It’s a beautiful little lodge, and feels like you are living in Montana (not just at a random hotel that could be in any city). The environment constantly reminded us of the beauty of the area. The staff treated you like family, cooked for you, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would stay here again, and have already recommended The Duck Inn to friends and family. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional.
Absolutely beautiful home! Living room has a big TV, three comfortable couches. Deck outside has big gas BBQ and outdoor couches. Bedrooms are spacious have TVs and electric fireplaces. Super comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen is fully equipped. A block to downtown Whitefish, easy parking.
Check out requirements were reasonable (strip the beds, start the dishwasher and washing machine)
Great value! Beautiful room. LOVED the bathroom! The size was great...the shower size was awesome!
Though we only stayed for 1 night (just a quick little trip) - that the hotel has laundry facilities was amazing! I don't think we've ever had that before. Wish all hotels had that! We will definitley stay here again.
This is the best place to stay in montana! An absolute hidden gem. The food is incredible and the staff are so nice! If you love beer, wine, food and a comfortable stay that has every amenities you could want then this is for you!!! And they have homemade cookies, and a snack bar available 24/7 for free.
Loved the location and our beagle Elly May enjoyed the walk to Whitefish Lake across the highway and the field directly across from the Lodge 🐕Given half the chance she would have been chasing the magpies across the golf course but she seemed content enough watching from our room's 🪟
👍
The design of this hotel is gorgeous, from the front desk to the room and the common area(with a nice balcony), every details is nicely chosen (prints on wall, kettle, lamps etc) and create a very contemporary and warm atmosphere. It is gorgeous.
Great staff too,
We loved our stay !!
Fantastic lodge with big rooms. You can tell this hotel mainly caters for the winterseason. The jacuzzi was great for the kids. Breakfast offered a wide selection of foods and great quality. Great place for a trip to Glacier, and I would image a great place for winter sports.
Good size room, bathroom was separate from rest of the room.
Was easy to access all of the hotel from our room.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
The bar food was delicious and service was good especially with us getting to the hotel at 8PM with a 9pm close
The hotel offered every possible thing a person would want and everything was so clean and as well the room spacious. The staff was so friendly and the hotel offered sooo much to the customer. Thank you sooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breakfast was the worst part of the stay compared to other available hotels offerings. However, they had great eggs, banana's and yogurt. Would have nice to have hot selections.
This is my favourite hotel in whitefish. They pool is great, it’s walking distance to downtown and they have nice little extras like cookies, s’mores kits and breakfast.
Location of hotel was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The fitness “room” could use a little help. But the staff was friendly. Room cleaned daily.
