We have stayed here before and keep coming back. The rooms are clean and there aren’t odors like some older motels get. Even though it is an older building, the owners have worked on the facilities to bring the decor and bathrooms up to date. The location is perfect. We have always felt safe there. It is close to the downtown area and shopping outside of town. It is in a very quiet area, so we could rest at night without a lot of noise. The owners were so friendly and so accommodating in giving us a ground floor room, since I have trouble with climbing stairs.

The Ellijay Inn is in downtown Ellijay, a 30 minute drive from Amicalola Falls State Park. This motel offers guests free Wi-Fi and cable TV in each room.

My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!

This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking, and free Wifi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the villa's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax.

The location was serene. I loved that you could hear the babbling brook just below the deck! There was an outdoor fireplace that we used to make s’mores. My 10 year old grandson loved it! There was a big bed upstairs and a room with bunks as well as a third bedroom. Plenty of room and good TV channels too. I recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone looking for a getaway. (Side note: check out the Expedition Big Foot Museum that is close by just for fun! )
