Our stay with 2 teenagers was very comforting. Even though there was not much snow we opt to do some indoor activities (glass factory) and hiking. The trails are well kept and they have proper descriptions of routes.

It's a very good, but rather expensive touristic place, you should check twice what you need if you come with children - perhaps, the neighbour towns and villages can be more suitable. I can say here you can have a very active vacation, walking through the woods to the waterfalls and catching some good views, especially if you don't come by car. Reaching some foods is also an adventure, so it's better to have your own kitchen in your accomodation - to make the late dinners or light breakfasts before and after all the day walking - it can be more comfortable, especially if you travel with kidsOlgaUkraine - 8.0Scored 8.0

It is a very tourist city, we like more privacy, green and calmness, which we think we will get, but it is a city with lot of hotels, pensions, etc. The main street is full of giftshops, it looses the autenticity of the city. It is a mass tourist destination. We like more slow travel, so we would not come again. On the other hand, the nature around the city is still very nice, we had a nice hike trip.

A little ski resort. Excellent for ski-touring with famous area of Jakuszyce - over 90km of prepared trails for ski touring available directly or with short commute. The city has anything tourist may expect, it is worth to visit the tourist information, they are very helpful. I strongly advise to use apps like booking or tripadv for checking accommodation and dining. A lot of dining facilities serves low quality food.MichałPoland - 10Scored 10

We love the trails, the views. It was a bank holiday time it was hard to get a table at the most popular restaurants. We found the best place to eat in Karpacz "Bar przy kominku" near Wang with traditional polish food.DominikaPoland

It had a kitchenette with all necessary equipment to cook. We had complimentary water, tea, coffee and even candies. Owner let us to check out as late as we want. Apartment is away from any noise in a very silent area so we had the best 2 night sleeps. It is next to some ski slopes.NECATIPoland
