Loved the kitchenette and cleanliness of the room. It was decorated very elegantly, with the gray and muted tones. The kitchenette was a nice surprise!

Breakfast was ok, though we arrived at the very end of the breakfast window so the potatoes were a little stale by then, but I enjoyed that it was more than just your typical continental breakfast. I liked that they had a breakfast taco option.

The breakfast was very good the room was very quaint but it could have been cleaner and the spa /was not open /shut down . I had a water spill in the bathroom when I wiped it up off the floor the towel was blackish which tells me the floor did not get mopped between guests but I would stay again.

The room had plenty of light and space. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi met my needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt safe in the room and in the hotel. I liked being handed the invoice for the parking garage on the last day of my visit, so I knew what I would be expected to pay.

Our room was a very nice size, clean and comfortable beds.
Our room was a very nice size, clean and comfortable beds. Great price for location. Room had iron and hair dryer, coffee maker and small refrigerator, no microwave. There was several nice places in walking distance to eat and get coffee drinks. If I'm in need of a room in this area I'll definitely stay here again.

Really really BAD.
Really really BAD. Dirty, smells like people smoke weed in the hallways all night. Everything in the room dirty and old. Kitchen faucet broken, bathroom dirty, avoid this place at all cost. Towels dirty , hair in the towels.😖

Pleasant Hill is less than 30 minutes to San Francisco and about 45 minutes to Napa. It's nicely located for day trips in our popular areas and more affordable. The newer downtown area offers many great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. There's many other areas of shopping dining etc within a short driving distance. Mt. Diablo is close by (15 mi) for hiking, many bike trails locally, regional parks and areas for fishing not too far away. Pleasant Hill also has a rapid transit train which goes to Oakland (Sporting/concert arenas) and to San Francisco. Pleasant Hill dining ..Jack's in the downtown is good for American dining ( breakfast lunch and dinner), Zio Fraedos is great for Italian food, De Vinos or Melo's for pizza, El Patron for Barria tacos are to die for..lol and their burritos aren't too bad.

They could have done better.
They could have done better. I was there over a week and they never cleaned my room. I killed a roach in the kitchen. They Cleaned out the A/C unit which was appreciated. The room should have been a smoking room being that the room next door was. The fire alarm was tested today after I arrived from a night shift TO SLEEP! I had to ask the 3 guys testing the alarms if they were finished in my room because they never said anything, not even warning me that the alarm will be going off in my room a few times for testing.

They need to remodel badly.
They need to remodel badly. The shower was cold water and the only one that didn't work. No lightbulb in the lamp next to the bed . Lumpy bed hurt my back bad. That place is terrible. Now I'm back at motel 6 in Walnut Creek. Much better.

Excellent location, across the street from large shopping...
Excellent location, across the street from large shopping mall with great options for shopping and restaurants with movie theater. We ate at Chipotle Mexican Grill in the mall. My first time visit to area and enjoyed the weather and atmosphere.
My experience was not good for 4 nights stay at this hotel: 1) I booked this hotel with breakfast for my family through Booking.com, but I was told that the breakfast has been cancelled due to the holidays, even no hot coffee available for all guests during the holiday, I have to buy my family breakfast out of the hotel. 2) We stayed there for 4 days, no one cleaned up the trash, and no one changed the towels.
Nice safe location and easy access to most everything. Bed comfort was fantastic. One of the best ever. WiFi very good. Breakfast had a lot of options, but coffee (see below). Hotel very clean and modern and a better choice than many in the area. It has a few negative areas, but overall still a solid rating. Nice laundry room as well as fitness center.
The staff was very helpful calling to confirm my late arrival while I was enroute & then providing detailed directions to the hotel when I got lost. Had elevator access to 3rd floor & quiet room. Amenities of refrig/microwave/AC/iron/wifi/ appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Good location with restaurants in walking distance almost next door.
The check-in staff day AND night shift are super sweet. All employees of the hotel were just all very kind people who made us feel so welcomed and I really hope to be back there soon our room was perfect. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the beautiful stay.
I Try to stay more if the price is right, like staying couple of months. I can rent the studio for around $1800.00 in Walnut Creek. Or month to month. if Pleasant Hill Inn offers that, I would stay much longer.
It was easy to check in, and the hotel was quiet, and there was parking available. Mini fridge and microwave worked, and bathroom seemed clean. The extra blanket was much appreciated.
The location of the hotel is next to restaurants, supermarkets and highways.
Also the room is well equipped with microwave and means for coffee making.
