Room was great. The bathroom was large, clean and modern. Same with the room itself, all was clean and functional and had everything we needed. The man who checked us in on arrival was wonderful. He was friendly and professional and showed us to the parking bay where we left our car for the weekend. Breakfast was well worth the money - a great selection, fresh ingredients and plenty of choice and availability. Breakfast staff were also very nice and friendly.

The best part is that the location was world class and the hotel was top notch. How can you beat that combo? Will stay there again.

We travelled to Dunkirk to visit the WW2 evacuation beaches. We stayed for 2 nights so that wehad a full day and it was perfect to give us time to wander around with no rush. If we had had time it would have been nice to maybe stay an extra night and pop into Belfium.

The Port Museum (Musee Portuaire) was very interesting and give a great insight into the history and development of the port both past and present. A good number of old master seascapes and some model ships were exhibited. Another good and interesting museum is the one on Operation Dynamo - the Battle of Dunkirk and the subsequent evacuation. This was very thought -provoking. The beaches (linked to the evacuation) at Malo-les-Bains are wonderful.

Small city, not too much to do but just enough.
Small city, not too much to do but just enough. Able to spend time on the beaches and go to museums. Many options to go out for a drink or dinner, highly recommend eating at Moon shiners. Centre is quite compact so everything is walking distance.

For war history enthusiasts, Dunkerque is a must!
For war history enthusiasts, Dunkerque is a must! It's steeped in history.
Lots to see and within a relatively small radius.
Very easy to get further afield too, with Bruges being just an hour away aswell as easily accessible to Lille and other places of interest.
Excellent ferry service with DFDS and only 30 minutes drive to the centre.
There are street markets and some lovely bars and restaurants. Our favourite became Woll Street, with the fabulous Julian and team on hand, very friendly, great menu, outside and inside seating and a happy hour for drinks at the weekend. They even made a dish which wasn't on their menu for me and allowed me to buy some delicious pastries at a nearby bakery and eat them at the bar!
Buses are free and an excellent service.
The tourist information office is located in the beautiful Belfry and they are super helpful.

A wonderful experience.
A wonderful experience. Our room on the 4th floor was fantastic! Beautiful sea view. Really delighted with our room, bathroom and facilities. The pool was very luxurious and relaxing. I’d love to come back and will do. Location was just beautiful!
The hotel was opposite the beach and joining the promenade with restaurants etc.
Perfect position. The beach itself is lovely and sandy and has dunes.
We had dinner in the hotel on our last night. The food was excellent and presentation superb although it was the most expensive meal during our stay in Dunkirk.
There are some nice walks around the hotel.
Fantastic communication from when we booked ,up until we left.
There was no concerns with anything, the booklet had all the possible information you could want .
It was spotless & had a lovely clean fresh smell throughout each room .
I would definitely recommend & I already have too friends, I will definitely book this again on my next visit to France.
Room was well appointed and in a perfect location for my Historical tour of the Dunkirk Beach area. Everything was in walking distance for the day and one evening that I was there. Room is like a small hotel or motel room suitable for one person or a couple. Very easy access to the beach or the history museum depending on what you are there for.
The property is very modern, cozy and super clean with comfortable beds and good equipment.
WiFi works perfect. The location is wonderful. It is quite, and at the same time close to the beach and restaurants, shops, etc.
The owner is very friendly and ready to help when needed. We really enjoyed our stay in Dunkerque.
It‘s got everything you need. Kitchen + Shower. We found free parking one street away. Never saw the owner, got access to the key via a lockbox. If you like to walk you can reach everything in Dunkerque easily on foot from here, but it‘s not hard to find parking if you choose to use the car to get around.
We thought it was a cheap hotel but turns out it was a youth hostel. The staff were brilliant and because we were traveling as a family, we all had a great time because everyone was catered for. Loved the location... 5 minutes to the sea. Loved the freedom the older children could have.
The hotel is cozy. It's basic, but clean and well worth the price. It is close to everything. The staff is very friendly and the whole area is super silent at night. We loved it. If we come back to Dunkerque, we will surely stay here again.
super comfortable hotel with very nice staff. I love it that the reception and dining area is in totally separate building. The space between the two building is a beautiful courtyard with the view of the old harbor.
Warm and friendly welcome at this unassuming 2* Hotel in the centre of Dunkerque. Very comfortable, simple but tasty dinner (the soup was especially good!) and staff with great sense of hospitality and welcome
Excellent hotel rooms, well-equipped, free parking is nearby, the hotel looks new and well-maintained. We had a family room from which there was a perfect view on the channel.
A modern hotel on the historic harbour, with a great view from the breakfast room and most rooms. Good beds and a good breakfast spread. Underground car park
Great location. City had free buses and hotel was outside the train station and bus station. A small walk to town. Room was good, clean and comfortable.
