    Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous...

    Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets. The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of. Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

    The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.

    Agonda is a great place to relax and destress. Theres not much to do there so go with the intention of just chilling, swimming and eating well. The sunsets are amazing so stay on the beach to watch the sun go down.

    South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and...

    South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. Overall South Agonda is a beautiful place I would recommend to all.

    To be on the beach and able to sit on my deck in peace and then stroll onto the sand and swim In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all Pretty basic but fan and air conditioning efficient. Comfortable bed and pillows! Wonderful unspoilt beach .

    The views from Simrose are fantastic of the ocean and beach. The beach front huts are the best and worth the extra money. We stayed here for a week and loved every minute, the staff couldn't do enough for us and the restaurant is fantastic. The food was lovely and full of flavour and the waiters are very friendly and make it a fantastic experience. Agonda is a quiet resort with a few bars, restaurants and shops. Perfect for a chilled week on the beach eating fantastic India Goan food.

    The location is great. It's right at the beach in front of the surfspot and we were lucky as we could catch some waves. But the thing we like best was the owner, Nitin. Has a lot of patience, is kind and loves to help out. I received some great Indian (Goan) food recommendations and also restaurant recommendations. If you like a relaxed atmosphere, and some good matrasses - you need to go here

    Great location on the beach in a grove of shady palms and a lush garden. Our bungalow was ample and had a comfortable porch with a view of the Arabian Sea. The housekeeping staff kept us shipshape. Excellent laundry service. First-rate outdoor restaurant in the heart of the property. The folks in reception were great about recommending excursions and arranging transportation.

    The room we stayed in was the sea view cottage above the restaurant. Outstanding view and right on the beach and lovely cosy room with good a/c and fan. Very clean and nice decor. Staff were friendly and helpful in all departments. We had an amazing stay. Thank you Agonda cottages. We would definitely recommend if you're after rest and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.

    Excellent stay. Got what we asked for. just top rating for the view from the room. We just wanted to have a relaxed vacation with no much sight seeing in mind. Agonda beach villa was bang on for our requirements. Had a relaxing time and the staff was very friendly, special mention Raju, Naveen and Kapil. And thanks for the surprise cake for my daughter's bday.

    Location is prefect on a quiet and clean, protected beach. The beach huts are nice with a great view to the beach and to the sea. Water pressure in the rooftop huts is good. Mosquito net over the bed is a great bonus, not that there were any mosquitoes in the end of the season in May. Staff is nice and helpful.

    Location is perfect if you want to spend your time in the beach. Relax at the restaurant/shack which is beach facing, soak in the beach and the sun. Live music on Sunday evening was great. Cottages with garden view nearer to shack give a glimpse of serene Agonda beach right from your porch

    It was an excellent time at bay agonda. Right from the view from the beach cottage to the food. The staff was very caring and courteous. Would definitely recommend to people who are looking for beach front cottages. Would definitely book it for more days next time.

    Opt for the bigger rooms, they are much better and doesn't put a hole in the pocket. The rooms are neat and clean. Just a min walk away from agonda beach. Fatima restaurant serves really amazing food. Also allowed late checkout at 5 pm at a very minimal cost.
