Great location just outside of Louisville. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Nice sized rooms. Good places to eat and drink in the area. Would stay here again!

At first glance, this hotel looks great.
At first glance, this hotel looks great. But after staying there, you’ll know that the owners have just put lipstick on a pig. The lobby and pool are the only places in the hotel that aren’t run down.
When we arrived, there was a surprise $100 security deposit, which wasn’t stated anywhere on the website when we booked. My family and I booked the largest suite because my husband was here for business and I stayed in the hotel with our two young children. We ordered breakfast which was $13 for a breakfast sandwich (the menu said $9). The “toast” for the sandwich was floppy and the eggs weren’t fully cooked. We let that go because things happen.
I planned on swimming and then taking the two kids to lunch at the hotel restaurant. When we got downstairs to the restaurant, I was told by a very rude employee that she was the only server there and she wanted to go home, so she wasn’t accepting tables. It was 130pm and she told me I needed to wait until 345 when the next server came in.
I went to the front desk to talk to someone, Kacie was very kind and helpful and eventually convinced the cook to take and prepare our lunch order. But we had to take it to go. It took over an hour for us to get our Cesar salad and chicken tenders (even though nobody else was there) and the whole time we were waiting, the girl was just sitting on her phone and organizing receipts. Mind you, she wouldn’t look or speak to us at that point. The lunch was disgusting, soggy and cold. When we complained to management, we were brushed off.
Not to mention, everything in the room was run down, the elevators were sketchy, the furniture was all chipped and falling apart and definitely not worth the money for the room. All of the fire extinguishers hadn’t been inspected in over a year, so if there were a fire, who know if they would work!
If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not the place.

Smaller quieter town close to Louisville.
Smaller quieter town close to Louisville. Traveling the GRC bridge across into downtown can be backed up but overall Jeffersonville is a much cheaper alternative to stay if visiting Louisville versus staying in Louisville.

Jeffersonville was a charming town.
Jeffersonville was a charming town. I was there for business so I did not get to explore much. For travelers who would like to be close to Louisville without the hustle and bustle and higher cost of lodging Jeffersonville is perfect.

Jefferson is a really nice town, the locals were friendly & courteous ,lots of fast food , gas & markets easily accessible. If you read this. You’re in for a nasty surprise if you stay at Wayfare Motel cheapest priced rooms in town, but trust me when I say there’s a reason they are the cheapest rates.
Nothing to like, the property is old and run down. Room had bed bugs, contacted the hotel and are currently awaiting a pest control report since they are newly renovated February 2023. Was told by staff that bed bugs travel with the traveler? Moved to a different hotel and haven’t had any problems. The room I stayed in had no telephone, no microwave, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, and the bed had a uncomfortable plastic cover on it. Was also informed to not leave my room after dark due to security issues around the property.
Everything! The kitchen was stopped with your basic and more. The house was clean and comfortable. The owner checked in on us several times. We do plan to go back to this place. I kind of want to keep it a secret so nobody else will rent it so it'll be available when we're ready. We really enjoyed our stay there it was much more comfortable than being in a hotel room. Easy check in and easy check out. I highly recommend this place if you're staying anywhere in the Jeffersonville area.
I liked the size for the price. For the same price i wouldve spent for a hotel(most likely wouldve spent more for a hotel to be honest) i was able to spend a good chunk of my time with my kids in a comfortable house with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. It just felt comfortable and fun with my kids when in a hotel i can tell there is a layer of bordem and they get obviously stir crazy, which i feel the same. So it was pleasant.
I liked that there was a bar/restaurant in the hotel and didn't have to leave if you didn't want to. The pool was awesome, and I liked the big picture windows it had. I loved that it was by a lake, and you could walk outside and see how pretty it was. The front desk people were really nice and very helpful.
The hotel was very nice, seemed new. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great Saturday morning but not good Sunday. The room was beautiful buy the mattress was terrible. With everything put together I would still rate this hotel 3 1/2 stars
Breakfast was alright, more fresh fruit would have been good. Staff were helpful. We had to keep requesting more towels. The location is very convenient for the Abbey Road Beatles festival. I do like the fact that this hotel is very pet friendly.
Cleanliness of hotel, inviting interior and exterior atmosphere, quiet surroundings and convenience to restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and we enjoyed great customer service
This was the 3rd time I have stayed at this location. My son moved down there and the hotel is very close by so I don't get so turned around. So location and price is the only reason I stayed.
The staff was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and so great at anticipating our needs. We had just driven 11 hours with four small children, so this hotel was just what we needed.
Requested a quiet room and this hotel did accommodate us. Pretty quiet for the most part no one bothered me the entire time I was there. The location was convenient and ideal.
It’s clean, and has a very beautiful lobby/pool area. This hotel honestly has so much potential, it’s a shame it’s not as lively as it should be. Lots of parking.
