Great place to visit with great views.
Great place to visit with great views. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. A small bathing area by a park. Ride the funicular to enjoy great views although the walk up to the lighthouse is not for the fainthearted as steep and hot in summer but worth the walk. A shuttle bus to the top is also available. Not as busy as Lake Garda and better in my opinion.Guest review bysimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bellagio is a beautiful place, though it can be quite busy and crowded. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a policewoman who was not friendly at all. We had just arrived and accidentally parked in a residential parking area. Despite our attempt to explain the mistake and our immediate departure, she issued us a ticket. On top of our already tight schedule, we then had to spend time figuring out how and where to pay the fine.Guest review byR YRCanada - 10.0
A beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como.
A beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como. Plenty to do and the town has excellent amenities. The promenade along the side of the lake is fantastic but the old town a few streets in is also great to wander around.Guest review byDominiqueUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It's a beautiful town, but rather small, with limited options for children and adults. Our 8-year old daughter was bored after one day. We booked for 3 nights, but probably 1-2 days max would have been enough. We rented a boat and explored the lake, which I highly recommend. Shopping options are few. My wife had hoped to find a nice dress, there were only a couple of shops available. You have a few good restaurants, but it's also rather limited. Again, fine for 1-2 nights, but no longer. It's also not a great place to stay and visit surroundings, as traffic is bad to get in and out of the town center. You do have free parking in spots, but you need to get lucky, ideally arriving very early morning or very late at night.Guest review byPatrickCyprus - 10.0

Extremely beautiful village very clean, even in middle of July, it did not feel overcrowded, easy walk to all attractions, Villa Monastero gardens is a must. Enjoyed, 4hrs in Billagio for sightseeing and shopping although very crowded. Side trip via bus to the gorge in Bellano was a highlight. Note: This was our 60th wedding anniv.Guest review byHARRYUnited States - 10.0

A hidden gem, smaller than more touristy towns like Varenna or Bellagio but with 2 great beaches next to each other on the lake with very safe swimming areas. Lots of opportunities to try watersports like paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing. Lots of restaurants to choose from, main waterfront square is the main hub at night with good food choices and spectacular views of lake and mountains. Everything walkable, we had a car and so meant we could also have some sightseeing days, Varenna and Bellano both 20-30 mins away, Bellagio about 80 mins.Guest review byPatrickUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It's a cute town with some lovely restaurants and easy enough to walk around for someone of average fitness. However if your purpose is to explore most of Lake Como, you will be limited to the slow ferry up to Bellagio / Varenna / Menaggio which takes 2-3hours. We had originally booked to stay in Varenna but cancelled due to works on the train line to get there. It still would have been a better option, or just staying in Como town to access the fast ferry. Most of the private boat tours also pick up from Como or from the "Golden Triangle" of the lake.Guest review byLouiseAustralia - 10.0
I’d definetly book this place again, great views.
I’d definetly book this place again, great views. It was fairly easy to get to and from, bit of a long journey but didn’t mind. The staff were great and the other people staying were nice to very international and friendly oh and I loved seeing peoples dogs but I’m not sure if they were staying there? The room was clean, beds comfortable, WiFi not sure it worked, breakfast good and fair price.Guest review byisabellaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Tremezzo is Charm... A quaint and picturesque commune. easy to get around. Location is perfect, with a pleasant, picturesque walk down to the lakeside promenade, where you have easy access by ferry to visit Varenna, Menaggio, and Bellagio. We ate at Helvetia Restorante, we enjoyed the food and the service was very good.Guest review byMarciBaumSwitzerland
