The family room is perfect for 4 people (although there is no door on the master portion, and the area with the pullout bed does not have black out shades). The breakfast was great, the location wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean! Huge shower was a major plus and the bed was actually one large bed instead of two twins pushed together which was nice. The common area was nice, it would be even nicer if there was a microwave or stove available!

Although an expensive country, the atmosphere at Reykjavik was wonderful and we had a great time. Highlight was a visit to the Blue Lagoon and whilst it wasnt as classy as the Sky Lagoon it had the Blue water which made it special and different to any other hot springs visit and we had a wonderful time there. Also visited Perlman museum which was interesting and very well done. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Reykjavik for a visit

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.

Great city. Always felt safe walking.

Great city. Always felt safe walking. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Very good base as tours we booked all picked us up at our hotel. Tours were all superb, small groups of 6-8. Wear layers as even in August weather can be sunny and warm to raining, chilly and windy. Would definitely go back.

    Lovely little fishing village.

Lovely little fishing village. There is a couple supermarkets and some restaurants. There is a main bus stop 2 mins from the Viking Hotel which was so handy and the stop for the Flybus coach to the airport (approx £23 pp one way) was opposite the hotel which was super handy and you get a beautiful view of the harbour whilst you wait. We got off 2 stops early from Reykjavík one day and walked back to explore and there were some lovely sights on the way. It’s a really nice place that’s neat and tidy. Probably wouldn’t need more than half a day wandering round but it’s nice to see the town.

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
