The ambience, atmosphere, and decor. It felt like stepping back in time into a more gracious and less rushed age. There was something very special about this hotel which I liked very much. The views towards Lake Siljan were lovely also. In addition, I liked the many black and white photos from the past, the comfortable and spacious lounge, the piano, and the coffee room with the selection of icecreams.

Simple but well kept accommodations. Located at a craft school so off the beaten tourist path. In the woods and near Lake Siljan, but only a short walk on a woodsy trail into Leksand. Lovely breakfast.

    We had a wonderful stay at Lasse and Chia's beautiful home in Leksand. The house itself was charming and comfortable, and the surroundings were peaceful and picturesque. But what truly made our stay special was Lasse and Chia's warm hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home, and their generosity was much appreciated. We would highly recommend Lasse and Chia's place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Leksand.

    We liked the location, the area was really quiet and it was a nice view over the lake. Just 5 minutes walk to get down to lakeside and there you can follow the walking trails to the nearby camping or go for longer hiking trip. Also it is just a couple of minutes walk to the nearby shops, cafe, hotel, all accomodated in old traditional buildings.

    It was a really a nice place to stay, We viseted Dalhalla - Cristina, and enjoy our two days in Leksands Folkhögskola. My sister and myfather enjoy the wunderfül breakfast an the lovely places to sit outside. We would really like to ome back.
