There is so much history in the city.
There is so much history in the city. It was beautiful to walk around. There’s lots of winding old streets to explore. There are lovely restaurants and great independent boutique shops to rummage in. You can see history in real life in the bullet holes in some of the walls. The architecture was stunning too. The cathedral was beautiful. Well worth a visit! We went with kids are 7 and 10 and they enjoyed walking around. And seeing all the history they’ve studied at school. The food at Maison d’Arthur was lovely. This is a fabulous town: great food, amazing churches and medieval atmosphere in the old city, history, and life-style. Very laid back, great shops, lots of young people, good restaurants. We ate at Payiz, a small and unpretentious family-owned middle eastern restaurant. The tabouli and baba ghanoush, and almost every dish we had was excellent.
