Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! The sea is clean and wonderful.

Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. This is a problem of the state regulations, but hotel guests are in danger, especially children.

Well cared for, seafront although lacking sandy beach is well equipped in terms of terraces and steps leading into the sea with handrails to provide assistance. Also well positioned for visiting other locations. We. Visited Rijeka and the island of Krk.

its a truly spectacular part of Croatia - the Istria region. Beautiful beach, beautiful places, beautiful people ... you have beach, mountains, a bustle .. all in your immediacy. highly recommend it

Just as foretold, a bit smaller, a bit less fancy version of Abbazia / Opatija. The sea is the same :-) Also vey nice villas and apartments, the Lungo Mare is stretching all the way till here. Good food. Old Town is really old and authentic. Depressingly narrow streets, pedestrians only.

Nice little town, excellent location. Hiking routes nearby. A series of small beaches accessible by foot from the town centre. A beautiful 12-km promenade along the beach. Pula and Premantura are about 100kms away (worth a day trip).
