Wonderful old town with its honeycolored tuffstone buildings...
Wonderful old town with its honeycolored tuffstone buildings in barock achitecture. The Duomo and the great piazza del Duomo with its Campanile, Bishop Palace are beautiful.. From the church tower one has a great view. Another great and lively square is Piazza Sant Oronzo with the statue of the saint. Unfortunately, there was construction and closure of some part of the square but still big enough space for street performances at night. Day time was too hot. Aroud the piazza are niche cafes and restaurants.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Gallipoli Town is charming and full of character. The historic center is lovely to explore on foot, with narrow streets, vibrant markets, and beautiful architecture. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants serving fresh seafood, and the views of the sea are stunning. The town has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for sightseeing and enjoying local culture. Definitely worth a visit!Guest review byAbhilash 80Switzerland - 10.0

Otranto has a charming, beautiful Altstadt.
Otranto has a charming, beautiful Altstadt. It has a wonderfully tiled big square along the harbor with lots of restaurants. The town's white washed houses are delightful. It has a nice cathedral with a huge, beautifully restord mosaic along the floor of the cathedral. Visiting the historic castello is advisable. Walking the small pretty streets with its shops, cafes is very pleasant.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Nice beaches, plenty of fast food vendors, or dine-in restaurants if you prefer. Beaches were very clean, and locals very helpful. Prices were very reasonable too, with local shops providing local produce. For a real treat, try Cosimino Restaurant on Via Cosimo Albano; you can book a table overlooking the sea - its great food, and a fabulous atmosphere. It was not a noisy resort, in fact, we thought it was quiet, however, on weekends there was live music after dark. If you are planning a stay, Porto Cesareo is the perfect place to unwind and capture some Italian sunshine.Guest review byJeffUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Brindisi is a lovely seaside town - it's not full of tourists and has a nice feel to it. There are many restaurants with good local food. The city is a perfect base for trips to other nearby cities like Bari or Lecce via train, bus or car. And there are many beaches not too far away.Guest review byStevePoland - 10.0

After travelling around Puglia region for 5 weeks we really enjoyed our couple of nights here and could have stayed longer as found it a lot less touristy and so many restaurants to choose that weren’t 95% seafood only 😊Guest review byMelindaAustralia - 10.0

A great place to stay if you want to be situated near a wonderful beach, and visit other places in the area. We visited late September, so the crowd was really off, and the place was very relaxed and quiet. You do need a car if you want to visit the whole area.Guest review byMarijaNorth Macedonia - 10.0

A truly beautiful place, so much to see and some great restaurants. The museums, churches, architecture all beautiful. I would say three days would be ideal, an excellent place for a short break. Traffic into the old town is restricted across the middle opf the day, which enhances the appeal.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Tenuta Cursano is a wonderful place to stay.
Tenuta Cursano is a wonderful place to stay. Silvia and Marcello make you feel completely at home. They are very hospitable and have worked hard over the past few years to convert a farm into a beautiful vacation home. We had a wonderful vacation and were able to take fun trips to cities and the coast from here.Guest review byEdwinNetherlands
