The hosts went way over their normal duties to fix a mistake we made with the booking, saving us a lot of trouble. Very, very kind and helpful people. The place is very quiet and a little secluded from the town, a thing that we love, since we don't like crowds.

THE BEST HOST EVER! Jure and his wife were truly friendly and helpful. On our first day, Jure offered us some of his own handmade wine with a very warm chat. He used a local magazine with a map to show us what we could do on the island, which became our guide throughout the trip. Even though we arrived right in the peak season, he helped us rent a car. And he even contacted the bus driver from the Luka to Zaglav to confirm the timetable. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was magnificent. What more could you ask for? 😍

The house was newly renovated and was very clean. The kitchen was huge with a big island in the middle to allow for multiple people to be in that space at one time. Also the kitchen came stocked with pots, pans, plates - everything you need to make a meal at home! The 3 bathrooms was a nice bonus and great if you are travelling with multiple people so you don’t have to wait. The host was very responsive and met with us to check in and showed us the property. It was very quiet area, great for relaxation. Absolutely would stay here again 10/10

    A small village with everything you need.

    A small village with everything you need. We went to beaches all over the island. The advantage of Sali is the nearby national park Telascica. There was also an exceptional restaurant in Sali called Garoful. I highly recommend a visit.

    Sali is probably the best base to use on the island.

    Sali is probably the best base to use on the island. It has a ferry to Zadar three times a day, loads (maybe 5 or 6) restaurants, a sizable supermarket and quite a few cafe's and taverns. It also has a helpful tourist office where you can rent cars or scooters, although these are not cheap. The only petrol station on the island is in the next village about 4kms away. Talascia NP is a 5 minute drive away from the town and well worth a day trip. All the beaches are shingle and aren't really beaches, just little coves. The very best is half way up the island and directly across on the opposite side of the island to Brbinj. Very difficult to find without google maps set to satellite mode which shows the actual concrete access road. A one hour drive will take you the full length of the island.

    Very nice, cozy place.

    Very nice, cozy place. We ate dinner couple of times in Cookhouse & Bar GAROFUL. It is nice place to have a meal with beautiful sea view. From Sali it is very easy to get to other part of the Long island, and to organize nice boat trip to Kornati national park and Telascica nature park. All in all, I was quite impressed with Sali and Long island in general with all that beauty and big blue I saw around. It is worth of visiting at least once in your life time. Strongly recommended! :-)

    We loved Sali!

    We loved Sali! It is a quaint little town that has everything you need! The beach was one of the best ones on the island, rocky, with lots of trees that provide shade throughout the day and numerous little inlets that offer privacy from other beach visitors. Great for snorkeling and swimming. Sali also has a supermarket and several restaurants, a wonderful gelateria to have ice cream, and almost no traffic. It is the perfect place to relax, have long walks, swim or eat out. I highly recommend it.

    Casa Lorela is a beautiful and lovely newly renovated holiday house in a peaceful street in the very center of the old town Sali. Its perfect position and facilities have helped our stay (group of four / two pairs) for two weeks in this cozy little city and stunning island to become really wonderful and memorable. Communication with Ms. Lorela, her family and friends was easy going and effective. They have provided all information we have asked for and even fullfiled some of our wishes beyond standards expected. Highly recommended.

    The location of the olive tree house is perfect, overlooking the town of Sali. Very comfortable place that had everything I needed. Communication with Lidija went very smoothly and even though I didn't get to see her in person, she made sure that everything was in its place and that I could easily check in. The olive house is a super cute place to stay in, it's cozy and has a bathroom with great shower. I felt at home the moment I stepped inside. Perfect for solo travellers or couples.

    A lovely place to stay, very clean with lots of amenities at hand. The hot tub is a bonus with a great view of the port. Lots of information about Sali and the rest of Dugi Otok was left for us to read. We would stay again!

    Great location, bigger room than on pictures, great view of the sea, walking distance to centre of Sali (bakery ...). Very clean and very good kitchen supplies (pans ...). Location is near Telaščica park and Kornati.
