The beach in front of the property is one of a kind. We would gladly come back to this hotel only to have the chance to experience it once again. And the access to Paradise lagoon on windy days was also great. The boy at the pool, the person operating the glassboat, the shuttle drivers and the cleaning staff were all super nice.

The location is magnificent, right on the Morne with beautiful views. It makes is very special and give a sense of paradise. The place was very clean, the room was spotless and the hotel as well as its facilities are well maintained. The staff is constantly cleaning the garden, the beach. We stayed at the Paradis Beachfront room, direct access to the ocean, beautiful views (2nd floor) but the room lacked of design, the furniture were basic and the lighting bright like in an hospital - it was a bit impersonal. There is two restaurants à la carte on site, beautifully designed, very good food and selection of wine. The service was impeccable.

Great guest house ran by a charming and hospitable family who will do the outmost to have a pleasant stay. Huge apartment. The breakfast was slightly different each day. Air conditioning for the hot days. The location is ideal to explore the southwest region. Kayak to enjoy the pleasant sunset. The only weak point is the cars passing by early in the morning but all the other good things exceed that small nuance. We would definitely come back.

The place is very good value and very well located. You have access to the public beach at La Morne and the restaurants and supermarket in La Gaulette all a short drive away. And there is a nice restaurant you can walk to, Zom Kayak. The wifi worked well, and everything was perfectly comfortable.

We had an incredible time at Villa Marie Joana. The view of Le Morne was absolutely breathtaking. Ancy, the owner, greeted us with a warm welcome, a delicious local dinner, and thoughtful welcome goods, such a lovely touch! The house was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location. Alice, the cleaning lady, also cooked us a fantastic Mauritian dinner one evening for a small fee. It was delicious! Highly recommended. We’d definitely come back!

    Tu beach is just amazing, the color of the water is...

    Tu beach is just amazing, the color of the water is impressive, in the public beach you have to possibility to see the see turtles. The place is a piece of paradise. Definitely worth to go and to spend some time there. I would recommend an hotel next to the le Morne beach most of the hotel do not have the possibility to eat or rent the sun bed just daily. Also I would recommend the experience of swimming with the dolphins that is offered almost everywhere.

    Financial exploitation is the title of this hotel. Financial exploitation defines the taxi drivers. Financial exploitation dominates the boat rental services. Financial exploitation extends even to the zoo. Exploitation is the main theme, and as a city, it offers nothing enjoyable.

    Not a good hotel for winter visits.

    Not a good hotel for winter visits. Best rooms face South so no sun until 4pm. Hotel was about 20% occupancy resulting in no "buzz", facilities open part time and food on buffet not consumed quickly enough to be fresh.

    The suite in the JW Marriott Hotel was very spacious and clean. The balcony had a beautiful view overlooking tbe ocean, comfortable bench and chairs. Beautiful garden and pool. We also enjoyed the fitness facilities and library. Very attentive staff. Special thanks to Kanen who provided excellent service.

    We chose to stay here because it was all inclusive, but it was definitely not worth it. The food was not very good, and the room was very basic and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and with low quality sheets. I would have much rather stayed in a nicer room and bought my meals separately elsewhere.

    Le Morne is a national park and an imposing background to...

    Le Morne is a national park and an imposing background to several luxury hotels. We admired it from the beach only and did not attempt the climb. There is not much else to do in the area apart from relax at one of the hotels - unless you wind surf. We had a car and did not find much in the way of shops or restaurants. Best choose a nice hotel and go full board or all-inclusive.

    Very happy with the soundproof room, generous minibar and Palace pool area sun lounges available. Plenty of free lounges on beach as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Appreciated being upgraded to the Palace as we didn’t want to be near the large amount of children at Turquoise! Live music was pleasant outside Le Morne bar near reception.

    The staff were exceptional and on call 24/7!! The hotel had plenty of amenities for both young and old. The dinners we had at Indya and the Floating Restaurant were amazing! I couldn’t get enough of the crepes that were at the breakfast buffet. One of our main reasons for the visit was the hike up Le Morne and the hotel was perfectly located.

    - quiet and large room - comfortable beds - friendly stuff - beautiful beach - La Ravanne restaurant is real treasure - weekly activities fitted our expectations - honeymoon package was nice (we took hiking option) - same category hotel in different location offers more but in South Mauritius/Le Morne this is one of best places to stay

    The location is really exceptional, at the foot of le Morne mountain. The beach is not far with a breath-taking view to the mountain. The restaurant in the villa is very cosy. A special thanks goes to the chef Ash. He really cares for the customers, the meals are delicious!
