The resort was so nice. Liked that it was for adults. Our room was comfortable and clean. Loved the lush robes. The property was maintained really well. A lot of outdoor activities are available. There were games and movies available too. Things that you might have to ask for like towels, etc, were stocked in a cabinet. We had a nice water view from our balcony. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet neighborhood good for taking walks. Only a couple minutes from the town center to restaurants and shops. We've booked our stay for next year

I traveled to door county for a girls trip. Pine Grove Resort was perfect for it! The resort is in a great location, located across the street from the lake- with lake access! We enjoyed all the resort had to offer including sitting on the lounge chairs next to the lake, using the hot tub, having free breakfast in the morning, free coffee, flavored water and cookies during the day, and free wine & cheese in the evening. The resort was quiet and clean. We enjoyed the table and patio off of our room during some down time. Location was prime as it is in walking distance to some restaurants and shopping but very close to other areas via car.

    Everything was awesome!

Everything was awesome! This was our first time visiting Sturgeon Bay! Lots of fantastic restaurants, fun shops, and great people! We enjoyed eating breakfast at Scateros and Fifth and Jefferson Coffee House! We walked a lot while we were here! Sturgeon Bay Merritime Museum is a must see! Take the tour on the John Purvus Tug! The Al Johnson Scandanavian Restaurant in Sister Bay is a must go to! The goats on the roof are a hoot!

Sister Bay was very expensive and way over crowded.

Sister Bay was very expensive and way over crowded. Our stay at Coach Lite Inn was awful, concerning our room. Our room was not cleaned - my Mother found a fake nail on her sheet in her bed!!! There was an earring back and dirt on the floor by the desk. It was so humid and damp on the room that the floor was wet. There was a dehumidifier that helped some but not much. One bed was tight up the an old air conditioner that did not blow out very cold air - it did not cool the room enough. There was water all along the floor - I dropped my phone behind the bedside table so I needed to move it out and it was disgusting back there - there was even a syringe!! I don’t know if it was from a baby’s medication or someone using drugs!! There was a small table with a couple chairs pushed up against a dresser - there was no way we could fit around it to eat or plays cards or anything. I was very disappointed by our stay. Thank goodness was we were able to spend so much time driving and enjoying the sites around Door County. On a positive the front desk people were nice. The Wild Tomato has wonderful pizza.

Very close to the tip of Door County. Close to the water. I loved sitting on the beach and watching the sun go down. Ellison Bay is less congested than some of the other tourist areas. I liked the peace and quiet on the beach in the evenings.

Liked the location, cleanliness, continental breakfast, friendly receptionists and the fire pits on the beach and by the inn. Wanted room 102 and that room was listed on the reservation confirmation. We were given the keys to 101 when arriving . Didn’t cAre for the layout of 101. Being close to the water was awesome. Liked the fact that one could make a reservation for one night and not have to reserve for multiple nights.

Right on Lake MI. Near Bjorklunden ( outdoor Shakespeare). Nice bike ride to Baileys harbor where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. This is the "quiet side"of Door County, but the rest of it is a 15 min drive away.

If you are going for a fun, crazy time don't go.

If you are going for a fun, crazy time don't go. It is a quiet town with a lot of driving and looking. If you rent a moped and drive around, you'll see everything in about 2 hours. Aside from the harbors and public beaches there is no access (or much view of the water). You HAVE to check out Jackson Harbor Soup and the Red Cup coffee shop. I would go all the way back just for that.
