Lewiston seemed to be full of generational foot prints.

Lewiston seemed to be full of generational foot prints. Talking to most here was about the only enjoyable part of our trip. The air smells like someone overcooked broccoli, and, the Sharis all night diner closes at 10pm. Just Sayin’

Lots to do if you like outdoor activities.

Lots to do if you like outdoor activities. Town has all the amenities but isn’t so large that traffic is an issue. The Snake River is awesome. There is an odor in the air everyday (mostly mornings) which comes from a nearby paper mill, I think. I’d like to say you get used to it, but I never did, and I was there for 3 months for work.

    Was there on business.

Was there on business. Enjoyed restaurants more than anything. Biggest n best hamburger I've ever had at Effies, BBQ at small place in strip mall up the hill was unique and great tasting! Spent off time at antique stores which was fun.

    I only spent one night.

I only spent one night. The mountain biking at Warner Canyon isn't very good. Sun-exposed and hot. Some trails are too advanced and dangerous to ride alone. The landscape around Lewiston is very beautiful. Miles and miles of rolling wheat and hay fields; the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake Rivers between Clarkston and Lewiston is dramatic. I ate at the Meriwether Restaurant in another hotel. It was late and they were closing, but the hostess welcomed me and said she had lots of work to do, so that I didn't have to rush eating. I ordered the Wild True Cod with Risotto and Parmigiana and string asparagus. It was excellent. There was only one other guest finishing his dinner, so I had the entire place to myself and listened to some opera arias on YouTube. The St. Michelle Sauvignon blanc was fair. The white blend wine was too sweet.

Lewiston smells like a giant cess pool thanks to the paper mill and has few tourist opportunities. The only thing I would recommend as a tourist is to go on a tour of Hell's Canyon in the summer when you can get in the water. It's beautiful up there, and is the tallest canyon in the US! There's also decent fishing in the spring/summer.

Lewiston has a good variety of restraunts and decent shopping. It's a short distance from fishing and a water park. Getting around is easy with one main road. I highly recommend Ernies Steak House as a place to eat.

Location was great. There's no breakfast or coffee in hotel. Have to go to another hotel for help. Customer service was good when they are available. Pool at gym was not available as promised. Other pool was overpacked most of the days we were there. But they did have a tournament in town. I've had better, but it was overall a good experience for me and my son. I paid to have the pools and didn't get to use them most the time. That was disappointing. But it's a nice place.

We came to Lewiston because of the gas break, so we had to be up and out the door early in the morning and didn't get back until late at night. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help us, they served breakfast earlier than normal so we could eat before work and one night I wanted to use the hot tub but I wasn't off work in time. The lady working the front desk let us go sit in the hot tube for just a bit.

The room was very clean, well laid out and of a good size; breakfast was good. There is ample parking and the hotel is within walking distance of grocery stores and places to eat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although there is no elevator, there was an offer to assist taking bags upstairs. The hotel was very good value for money - I would stay again.

Great place everything was perfect. The price was very good also. Hotel prices are completely out of hand lately. It's ridiculous to pay $120 $150 $200 for a bed to sleep on and a shower. Even motel 6s are now oftentimes $90 or more. I have read several articles where a good share of motel rooms are going empty at nights and that is the reason

The front desk employees were great. Took the time to help us with directions and answered our questions. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were concerned about the construction because of noise. Our room was quiet and construction didn’t bother us. We will return to this hotel. There is a great steak house close to the hotel.

The air conditioning, quick check in and check out, and the friendly staff all made this accommodating. Location was excellent. We were surprised that the noise level was extremely low - no noises from other occupants (hotel reached full capacity).
