The room was spotless, the tub was huge (like having a jacuzzi in the bathroom), the bed was comfortable, and the location was a dream. It was, literally, the most beautiful & enjoyable vacation spot I've ever been to. Im considering making a permanent move to the Meridian/Boise Idaho area, because of it's beauty. I truly enjoyed every minute of our visit & found it very difficult to leave.
We live here so not much to say other than we have lived here for 12 1/2 years. It has friendly locals, easy to get around town and sightseeing around Idaho Falls is not far away.
Idaho Pizza Company has the best Pizza ever but the Cities of Meridian and Boise sucks and not only because the city of Meridian is torn up due to construction. I do not recommend visiting there unless you have to.
Boise has lots to do for all family types. Museums, the Zoo, The Idaho Steelheads Hockey, the mall, night life, lots of restaurants and great food. The summer time has concerts, festivals and other outdoor activities. Right outside of Boise is Meridian, with lots of shopping and a water park. We love visiting Boise.
It was a very beautiful city. We loved the old parts and the newer, modern parts as we drove around. Great restaurants to choose from. Nice mall to shop at. Movie theatres to choose from. The scenery around the LDS temple was beautiful. We didn't have enough time to explore, so we are planning another trip in August. See you then Idaho Falls!
I loved my recent trip to Boise. The downtown area is very cute and there was plenty to do within walking distance. We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites and walked to Trader Joes just across the street, then to the Anne Frank Memorial Park and walked the riverwalk for a ways. It was beautiful and peaceful. The next day, we visited the old Idaho State Penitentiary, which was super interesting and SUPER creepy. We were sad to find that the outlet mall is almost completely out of business. Overall, Boise was a very fun, family friendly trip!
Boise is a nice city and close to all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer. Restaurants and entertainment are plentiful. I love walking the Boise Greenbelt when I'm in Boise. Also, there are several excellent yoga studios.
The noise from the neighbor room kids that were left alone in the room kept us up till midnight. We came to Idaho Falls to get a jump on our long trip the next day and what a joke that was!
People are small-minded and generally oblivious to the true facts of the city. Self righteousness brought on by another manufactued real estate boom precludes common sense. All who reside in the capital of Idaho should be ashamed of the states recent 47th ranking for education and 50th for average weekly wages.
I grew up in Idaho Falls. It is a beautiful town. I was there to see friends and decided to stay in a hotel the first night. There are a lot of nice hotels in Idaho Falls, but the Shilo Inn has really gone down hill. I would not recommend that hotel, but find a nice hotel and enjoy all that Idaho Falls has to offer!!!

The hotel just opened about 2 weeks before we arrived. Beautiful place (my husband said it was like someone designed it exactly to his taste). The rooms are basic, but clean and simple, and include nice beds and a fridge and microwave. The whole experience was very pleasant. The staff went above-and-beyond to make our stay comfortable. The facilities are very simple, but lovely - the pool and the hot tub particularly, which are open late. In general, this part of Idaho is beautiful and it was a pleasure to stay there.

We took this trip to reunite my son with his best friend, who moved away from California 3 years ago. It's my son's 21st birthday & this trip was his gift. The rooms were beautiful, clean, very comfortable, quiet & the best place I've ever stayed. We were incredibly impressed with the hotel, for the price. I, literally, have not one negative thing to say about the hotel or the staff. I cannot wait to go back. This is the only hotel I will stay at for all future Idaho visits.

/we loved all the space in this room. It was clean, comfortable, spacious & inviting. We loved the town of Idaho Falls, and this hotel was located near great walking spaces to see the entire town. We were on the top floor, and the view was pretty good. The days were hot outside, but not inside our room. The temperature was just right! We enjoyed being near several restaurants, as well. We will probably go there again. The exercise room came in very handy, too.

Idaho Falls is a rest stop between sites only - three hours South of the Western entrance to Yellowstone or two hours west of Jackson Hole - close but a convenient spot if you want a fresh start to either of these destination spots. However the prices reflect this convenience factor so keep this in mind if you know you can go the extra distance. The hotel is very dated but offers good rooms (very spacious - could have slept family of six in two queen room).

We went to Idaho Falls specifically to see the eclipse. I understand that since this was an unusual event that hotels would increase their prices but what happened bordered on unethical. We chose Motel West because they increased their room prices by a factor of 3 unlike the rest of the lodgings in the area which chose to increase their room prices by 6 or 7 times. It was a comfortable family run motel and a very enjoyable stay.

Dan the waiter/host at the restaurant was worth coming to Idaho to meet. He just made our evening. He was so much fun and he had my daughter in absolute stitches. He brought a smile to all our faces, even though we had an early morning and 9 hours of driving. Everyone at the hotel was super smiley, friendly and helpful. We loved this place. Also, so convenient for heading out on the highway in the morning.

Perfect experience, our room was large extremely clean top floor with a great balcony. The hotel staff was friendly and knew their town and their business. During this vacation we stayed in 3 different hotels while we traveled around Idaho, all hotels were 4 or 5 star/Knob Hill Inn was by far the favorite. I could also add the town of Ketchum was also our favorite place we visited.

We travelled for 15 days thru Montana & Canada & swung thru Idaho on the way home. This was the 2nd best room experience over the entire trip - and we stay in nice places. The room was an apartment - ready to move in. My wife said - I wish we had time to stay longer at this place. Bonus tip - check out Upper Mesa Falls - worth the drive - you can hike right to drop off.

Free airport shuttle is offered by the hotel, and there is a super big Walmart and some restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is one of the stops of the St.George shuttle from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City, so travelers who plan to take that shuttle (just like us) is strongly recommended to stay at this hotel. And breakfast is basic but with very fresh fruits.

It was our first trip to Idaho & we want to visit ALL the states. We have been traveling two weeks, staying in different cities each night, and this by far was the best hotel and a wonderful experience. Will most definitely look for them in the future. It was a spacious room with extra amenities, china cups & glasses - a extra added touch.

I am so excited to come back for another stay. I didn't want to leave. Everyone was so nice and so helpful and the room was more than comfortable for my 4 day stay! I would like to highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in the West Boise, Meridian area. Best hotel stay I have had in Idaho!

The rooms smelt good, were clean and comfortable. The TV worked just fine and there were enough towels and soaps for two. The air conditioning unit worked great too. The best part of the hotel is the gorgeous Snake River trail behind the hotel--a definite must see while visiting Idaho. The staff was friendly.

Beautiful view of falls from our balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby. Our room was very large. We were there the day of the eclipse and they did not charge the high rate like other hotels in Idaho Falls. Some were charging $400-700. We paid $129. Thank you Quality Inn!!

The rooms were wonderful; rustic and clean. We enjoyed the layout of the Cabin 2, and even though we didn't choose to cook in our room, the kitchen had all the amenities available to prepare meals. McCall Idaho was a beautiful setting for our stay.

The hotel was new, clean and beautiful, next door to the Rexburg LDS Temple and BYU-Idaho. Lovely pool, small but nice to have a dip on hot days or after long drive. Room was well equipped, shower great and bed comfortable.
