LOVED our stay at One Lakeside. We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and it was one block away from the fireworks show put on by the CDA Resprt. It was so nice not to have to fight traffic or pay a fortune for parking. The front desk staff were so kind and let us check in early which was such a nice surprise after a long drive.
You know the facilities are good when you sleep better than at home! Such a comfortable king sized bed with high quality bedding and blackout curtains were the recipe for one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in awhile. The kids slept on the sofa bed which had a paper thin mattress but kind of expected for a sofa bed.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook meals. Really nice local coffee provided and the unit had washer and dryer and all the toiletries which was another nice surprise.
Included with your rate is access to the rooftop lounge which was such a nice way to unwind after a long day of exploring. There was a hot tub and nice gym up there as well.
The place is a mix of hotel guests and residents and everyone was really nice and friendly. It was quiet even on a holiday weekend.
Location is perfect, within walking distance to tons of dining and shopping and close to a really nice bike and running path and of course the lake.
Well def be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Breakfast was standard continental with some hot items as well: waffles, sausages, eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal. Staff kept it well stocked even on the two busy mornings I came down for breakfast. My room (King Suite) was large and the bed super comfortable. A/C worked great! Shower was great and had good pressure. The General Manager was helpful when I had some rude door-slamming neighbors and a barking dog next to me. Plenty of soft towels.

The Hiawatha bike trail near Wallace, Montana and the Coeur d'Alene bike trail near Harrison, Montana were particular favorites. Both of these Montana towns were also delightful. Harrison even had a beach on Lake Coeur d'Alene which is open to the public at no charge, and Wallace had numerous fascinating shops and buildings. Coeur d'Alene itself had great parks, especially Tubbs Hill. We also loved Pilgrim's Market, which had an extraordinary selection of healthy foods for dining in, taking out, or stocking up.

The place is amazing, quiet and has wonderful people.
The place is amazing, quiet and has wonderful people. Just remember to let them know if you have limitations on foods. I forgot this time around and I sadly am a very plane jane and don't like veggies in my breakfast foods. So don't do what I did, let them know!

The Lake Village Lodge is small, clean and cute.
The Lake Village Lodge is small, clean and cute. It’s an old-style motel that has been updated with cabin decor. Right off the highway and one of CdA’s most popular breakfast restaurants is across the highway about a 1/4 mile up. Parking is tight, it’s a small establishment, surprisingly no road noise from the highway or freeway. Appears to be at the edge of the older part of CdA.

Fridge didn't work and they didn't fix it in two days.
Fridge didn't work and they didn't fix it in two days. Sink doesn't drain. Cirtains are dirty. Didn't clean the room and didn't tell us we have to ask for cleaning.
The breakfast was a 10 out of 10.
I checked into the Inn on Sunday March 20th, 2022. I had stayed at a bit of a dodgy motel on Saturday night in Surrey British Columbia and I needed to elevate my hotel game! I nailed it with The Roosevelt Inn! Tina and John Hough have a gem of a hotel and location! Everybody deserves to experience this breath-taking establishment. The furnishings within all of the suites are stunning. The bed that I slept on in the Burns Suite had the most comfortable mattress ever! I cannot wait to return to the Roosevelt with my wife.
I love that there was a pool and breakfast. Took my sister out for her birthday. I chose this hotel because it was close to where we wanted to go. About a 5 min Uber drive. I love that the doors locked for safety and you need a card to get in after a certain hour. The staff was friendly, the room was clean ( and I'm picky), the beds were so comfortable.
Nothing. This place was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot. They claimed to be pet friendly on their website and booking page. They are full on offensively NOT pet friendly. I have a huge list of electrical hazards as well. This review is me holding back. This building deserves to be condemned.
This more hotel reeks for attention. The staff was welcome enough though they have to send you to an inadequate room. The owner should be ashamed for the lack of upkeep and care for this property. Seems like getting money without a acceptable product does not bother their conscious. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt.
