This is a great place to stay while in McCall. Warm, cozy, quaint rooms with big screen TV. The staff here is excellent. We came a couple of days early and they bent over backwards to help us . . . even though they were booked for one of the nights. Driveway and Parking lot were kept clear during major snow fall. Walking distance to several restaurants. We will definitely come here again.
Boasting a garden, Rustic Inn is located in McCall. This 3-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Each room includes a balcony. My queen and I along with our dog Casper the Duke of Yorkshire arrived just shortly after check-in time and fortunately just ahead of a few others whom had reserved rooms the same day as us. Elizabeth, the nice lady behind the desk informed us that our room was not ready however there was a nicer room that was available and she could get us into that one while the others had to wait for their room, she jumped into action and really made our stay there the best possible, what can be said McCall is a great place and our stay here was top-notch thanks a ton Elizabeth for making our visit here better than expected.....

I would suggest that the price was economical. I didn't like the local music that kept us awake until 10 to 11:30 in the evening. The room size was ok for a single person but not two. It was basic but clean and the office staff very pleasant.
It was great to hike around (especially at Ponderosa State Park). I was a little creeped out by one gentleman who I ran into while hiking outside of the State Park because he was asking me about my car in the parking lot, if I had been their earlier, where I was going, and telling me that people sometimes get lost on the trails that I was hiking on, etc., so I left. Local people were nice and not creepy for the most part. Small town USA can be interesting. The hot springs were overcrowded. A lot of large groups of teenagers running around everywhere I went and they were kinda loud and wouldn't move quickly when they were walking together on the roads. Otherwise, good experience. More crowded than I remember it being 20+ years ago.
McCall is a wonderful, laid-back forest get-away, not far from Boise. Beautiful lake and great hiking trails in Ponderosa Park. Water sports available. I have stayed there 3 times this past summer, and hope to return for skiing in the winter.
We have been visiting McCall for thirty years. It's a small town on the south end of Payette Lake and hosts a winter carnival every winter. Ponderosa State Park on the outskirts provides camping, biking, trails and access to the lake. Wonderful place to visit. Pancake House is open from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm and provide great breakfasts and lunches. Dinner is good at Lardo's Grill and Saloon. There are many other fine eateries.
So loved that little town - sits right on Payette Lake. Lots of restaurants with outside dining to enjoy the lake view. Took the boat tour of Payette Lake and it was wonderful. Did spend most of our time at Ponderosa State Park with family who have an RV (highly recommend). Good restaurants - My Father's Place for an excellent burger and Huckleberry shake; Ice Cream Alley for the biggest ice cream cones ever, The Pancake House was excellent as was the Christmas Shop. Saw lots of deer and even a fox at the Park. Shops were okay - need a better price for a skimpy, thin McCall sweatshirt of $72 though. Lost a sale there. The Rustic Outlet was awesome - definite visit! Shopped at Ridley's - really liked that place. Easy town to maneuver.
Love the Christmas store. Pancake House over rated. Shopping prices understandably high (i.e. delivery to store because of location). Love the quilt stores. Perfect overnight stop midway between home and usual destination. Still looking for a restaurant that hits it out of the park.
Our room was simple and clean. Nothing fancy but no bad surprises either! We didn’t spend a lot of time in our room so it was a perfect base of operations and place to catch some Zzzz’s before heading to the next adventure. The location was excellent too! Within walking distance of downtown McCall and all the restaurants. The price was a steal too compared to other hotels in the area.
Perfect location for us. That is, walking distance to wedding venue. Also walking distance to multiple restaurants, downtown McCall, Lake Payette and marina. Ample self parking at all times. King suite was spacious and comfortable for 3 night stay. Very quiet.
The property is newly remodeled. It’s modern and super functional. The continental breakfast was spectacular! Also it is super close to city center and the beautiful city of McCall is easily accessible by foot.
Great place for our family ski trip! Spacious and comfortable for our whole family. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to McCall.
The location is excellent. We were close to Brundage and could walk to town. And it’s pet friendly!
This hotel is located in a great location and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.
Everything was to our expectations. Will stay in an 8 by Wyndham hotel again.
It had everything and the location was walking distance to downtown McCall
