If you are a vegetarian try the nearby Banana leaf restaurant. The in house restaurant serves cocum beer and excellent food. We visited the Renuka temple in the village just behind the Ginger and the walk was refreshing. Newton's supermarket nearby is a great place to shop essentials. The taxi operators are very reasonable and offer their services smilingly. Candolim has a fair choice of 'big name' hotels to stay in. The main road has a choice of restaurants and pricing ranges from average to expensive. All conveniences can be found on the Candolim Main Road. The people the places so varied and vibrant - huge choice of places to eat and drink all at really good prices for top quality food.
