The City Palace stood out as an architectural marvel...
The City Palace stood out as an architectural marvel exploring its rich history, intricate mosaics, and stunning lake views was a highlight. We loved our sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, which offered dreamy vistas of Jag Mandir and the surrounding hills. Saheliyon Ki Bari and the Monsoon Palace also made for memorable, peaceful outings, perfect for couples seeking romance and great photo opportunities. We tried several excellent restaurants: Upre by 1559 AD was our favorite for its rooftop ambiance and delicious Mewari cuisine. We also enjoyed the vegetarian thali at Natraj Dining Hall, and had a memorable lakeside dinner at Raaj Bagh, which combined great food with beautiful views. For a unique touch, breakfast at Millets of Mewar offered healthy and innovative local fare. Getting around is mostly easy, especially if you use ride-sharing apps like Ola or Uber for airport transfers and short city rides. Within the old city, many attractions are walkable, but some roads are narrow, so auto-rickshaws or tuk-tuks are handy for zipping through the lanes. Renting a bike is a good option if you want more flexibility, though traffic can be a bit hectic at times. Young couples will love watching the sunset or taking a private boat ride on Lake Pichola for a romantic experience. Don’t miss an evening cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli or the Dharohar Dance Show for a lively introduction to Rajasthani folk arts. Exploring Udaipur’s colorful old city markets, enjoying rooftop dinners with city views, and visiting art galleries or pottery workshops add creative, fun, and memorable experiences to your trip. Udaipur offers a truly magical escape with history, hospitality, food, and romance at every turn making it ideal for couples and anyone seeking memorable travel moments.Guest review byVikas Joshi CapgeminiIndia - 6.0
If you like heritage and rajasthan , it's worth one visit.
If you like heritage and rajasthan , it's worth one visit. The cab or auto drivers try to take advantage, shopping isn't very economical, and experiences are mechanical, unless you strike a chord with locals and be aware/concious of surroundingsGuest review bySunilIndia - 6.0

If you are religious and want to go here for this very reason, then you should go ahead with it. There are around 500 temples in Pushkar with the Brahma temple being the oldest one. Else, it is not a party place or a place with adventure activities. Restaurants close by 10 PM and no non-veg or alcohol is available throughout Pushkar.Guest review byVIKRAMIndia - 10.0
Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic.
Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic. There are lots of tourists-- the entire entrance to the great fort is mobbed by tourists and tourist shops and hustlers. Despite that, the magic of this desert city survives. It is a gem, beautiful beyond imagining. I hope we can return someday. The opportunity for a desert adventure-- jeep through the rocky paths, camel ride, dinner cooked over an open fire, the silence of the desert at night-- was delightful. Our driver, Ukka, was skilled and fun to be with.Guest review byShulman - 2.0

Ajmer is an old city and the area near the railway station/...
Ajmer is an old city and the area near the railway station/hotel is poor and dilapidated. This will challenge some tourists. Not all local people are friendly but many are very friendly, helpful and curious about where you come from. I am female and was travelling on my own and found Ajmer to be a safe city. The Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti dargah and neighbouring bazaar streets are fascinating to see and a highlight of my trip!!!!!!Guest review byDohertyAustralia - 8.0

The place needs a lot of work..the NE 4 highway has opened hence a lot of crowd is pouring in at sawai madhopar however the hotels are in between villages and from the road to the resort nothing is done up well. Fateh's cafe and area around are just a few places one can hang out in. The visit to the fort etc should all be handled better by the locals and police, though people were warm it's all a bit not so clean and not so tourist friendly.Guest review byRupaIndia - 8.0

Kumbhalgarh is the best place you can visit during February...
Kumbhalgarh is the best place you can visit during February or March. Everything located amidst beautiful mountains. Fort is excellent but very steep, so may be senior citizens may not walk that much. But it's beautiful. We also enjoyed light and sound show at fort, which was mesmerizing. You should definitely not miss this. It revealed the history of the fort. We enjoyed our stay at Stone Wood Premier Resort, food and location were excellent. And definitely you cannot miss the village safari, the best part of Kumbhalgarh Trip. They show you a couple of temples, lake and fort. You can also enjoy a quiet and romantic stay in Kumbhalgarh.Guest review byAditiIndia
