The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the location is great for overall sight seeing. The rooms are well insulated so quiet from street noise. There's a parking garage, with hotel discount, a block away which is very convenient.

This place is directly above Temple Bar! Like when you see a photo of the bar and you see the flowered window boxes in the apartment above the bar...it is the window boxes of this place. I did not know that when booking. I knew it was nearby. I also didn't realize that it was an apartment w/ a kitchen and bedrooms were up another floor. It was shockingly quiet [muted] in there given the noise out on the street. I have food allergies so was extremely happy to get to a nearby grocery store and be able to cook something I knew wouldn't give me a reaction! It was a very cool place to stay! It was also nice that some could stay in and others go out and because we were all so close we could join others later quite easily. This would not be possible if we had to take an Uber to get to a location.

The staff was very nice and everything was very clean.

The Mercantile Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Dublin City Center. Centrally located on Dame Street which is just yards from Dublin’s commercial, shopping, and entertainment areas.

Brand new hotel so everything was new and shiny and comfortable, including the beds. The staff was wonderful and provided a credit due to the elevator situation.
