I was born in Bowral so the nostalgia for me was high! I was only able to be in the area for one night, but made it out to Bundanoon and to Mittagong for a visit. Eating at the Briars Inn was a sensational experience with incredible food and a lovely cosy vibe. Great base for bushwalks.
Great base for bushwalks. Fitzroy Falls and the Western Rim Walk were spectacular. Loved the Glow Worm walk - but it was too cold to see many Glow Worms as they die off in winter. We will come back in summer. Bundanoon Village very cute and welcoming. Lots of interesting shops, especially the wool store. Accommodation was warm and cosy with lots of opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside. Lovely little country town that has everything you need. Short trip to Belmore falls is well worth it. The Robertson Public House is a nice, modern pub with great food, while the Robertson Hotel has lovely Christmas in July gatherings.Guest review byRichardAustralia - 10.0

Berrima was surprisingly quiet especially when compared to nearby Bowral. For instance, on a Sunday morning some of the cafes remained shut. The Pub is a great place for a meal and there were lots of cafes to have breakfast and coffee. We visited a local winery Artemis, about 10 minutes away and had a beautiful Pizza and Wine for lunch. What a beautiful area, so green and quiet, yet so close to town. We had lunch in Berrima, and went to a concert the following afternoon at Centennial Vineyards, we were in between both which made it easy for getting about. treats are quiet, not many cars, but lots of beautiful birds.
