Berida Hotel, hotel in Moss Vale

Berida Hotel is set among established gardens just moments from the main street of Bowral.

I recently stayed at this delightful hotel, just a stone’s throw from Main Street, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore Bowral. The hotel itself has a lovely, welcoming presentation. It feels both quaint and elegant, with charming touches like vintage décor in the common areas and a beautifully maintained exterior. The rooms are delightful— clean, modern, incredibly comfortable.

Peppers Craigieburn Resort, hotel in Moss Vale

Celebrating a century of construction, Peppers Craigieburn is located on a sprawling country estate nestled in the scenic Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

the rooms are really small and aren't over nice for the amount of money you pay to stay there. i felt that peppers was just leaning into their brand, which failed to meet any of my expectations.

Great location but carful what room you book.

Great location but carful what room you book. Some rooms were renovated and nice with aircon and some rooms. Mine was horribly outdated, old bathroom, no heating, tiny room and very small tv Wifi did not work and I had no desk I could work from

It's a nice town in a nice location, with a country feel and has attractions like golf, with wineries and mountain biking nearby. The food is good at multiple local restaurants and at some wineries.

Moss Vale is in the centre of the southern tablelands.

Moss Vale is in the centre of the southern tablelands. Lots to see and do We ate at Dormie House, Memorial Club and Bundanoon Easy to get around with car. I have relatives living in Moss Vale and Bowral and my mother was from Wingello so have been coming down this way all my life and I am now 75. The towns have all grown in a good way. Plenty of shops, eateries and antique shops. I will certainly be back

Convenient location. Extremely small double room.

Convenient location. Extremely small double room. More suited to a sole traveler. No elevator so difficulty climbing stairs with luggage. No bellboy. No air conditioner but had a fan. Room very dusty with only one opening window. The other window had a broken sash therefore couldn’t stay open. Paint hanging off wall. The room hadn’t been vacuumed before arrival as it had pieces of tissue on the floor next to bed. Staff pleasant, restaurant food quite nice with attentive server. Nice grounds but room shouldn’t have been offered until it had been renovated. Felt ripped off under the circumstances. Definitely not suitable for pensioners unless a ground floor room is offered.

In the middle of Moss Vale is Leighton Park which was full of beautiful flowering hydrangeas of many varieties and colours. And Cecil Hoskins Wetland Reserve is a great place to visit to view water birds.

Moss Vale is a beautiful country town.

Moss Vale is a beautiful country town. The whole area surrounding Moss Vale is a great area to visit. My problem was with Dormie house. I couldn't believe that I had paid $165 for the night in such a dingy, dismal place. The place resembled a funeral home rather than a hotel type of accommodation. It was cold, dark and miserable and when I say cold, I mean freezing cold. There was a radiator in the room but if you stood more than 10mm away from it you would not know it was turned on. It did nothing in the way of warming the room. We put 2 extra blankets on the bed, and we were still cold all night long.

The Old Nunnery Boutique Hotel is a lovely property in Moss Vale with a lot of history. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely decor. There is a sitting room available for guests to relax in. The breakfast room is cosy and warm. Breakfast is included with choices of cereals, toast and a hot dish. A nice touch is homemade brownies on arrival in your room. The verandah is perfect for sitting and relaxing, the garden is lovely to walk around, and parking is easy for four cars on site. I would definitely return.

Great little getaway house, perfect for a weekend away. The facilities were all of a high standard and the accommodation was comfortable and inviting. Ian was a fantastic host from start to end. He went above and beyond to help me retrieve items that were left behind and I’d highly recommend staying here for his warm hospitality alone! Thankyou - we loved Moss Vale.

No breakfast included or if there was, we were not told about it. The hotel was in a good location and very friendly staff. It was kept clean and tidy, bathrooms/toilets well maintained.
