Auberge Fleurs de Lune, hotel in La Malbaie

Located in the village of Cap-à l'Aigle, in Quebec's Charlevoix region, this inn is nestled between the sea and the mountains and offers stunning views of the St. Lawrence River.

We arrived early by bicycle to the auberge and the host was very hospitable allowing us to drop off our luggage so we could bike into La Malbaie without effort. The room was small but very comfortable and we had use of a fridge placed in the hallway. The most memorable moment was relaxing on the elevated patio watching the sunset. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Would highly recommend a stay at Auberge Fleurs de Lune.

La Malbaie is a beautiful destination with historic buildings. The Fairmont is spectacular. Scenery is incredible. Would highly recommend. We do not speak French but that was not an issue anywhere we went. It is very easy to get around with a lovely walkway along the St Lawrence

La Malbaie is a very nice little city.

La Malbaie is a very nice little city. It's not commercialized like the big cities. We see nature everywhere we go. Mountains, lakes, river we see all of them. The route 138 is fantastic with a lot of interesting places to see. We would recommend the trip to our friends and probably we will plan to come back. We love Quebec!

The staffs in reception are nice and professional but the staffs in its restaurant are horrible! We didnt see we are welcomed with their attitude. They insisted to set up our table in a urgly corner and far from western family in table with river view. The suite we booked cost 900CAD/night and they offered us a room in the corner of the first floor without any view except the messy sidewalk/yard. The room service is not good, 3.5h waiting for their bringing towel and blanket.

La Malbaie is a great point from which to explore further. We went to Tadoussac in an easy day trip from here. We were able to walk to supper in the main dining area which was a nice option. There are lots of restaurants to chose from.

Located in a very pittoresque area of town. Pointe à Pic was quite a revelation with it's waterfront, park and trail, bridge, train station, Casino and Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu all located within walking distance. The hotel is a charming older inn located on a parcel of land surrounded by trees. Our room was very clean, odor free. Great Wi-fi, comfortable beds and pillows. Amazing buffet breakfast with fresh croissant and a large selection.

This is a quaint B&B in a beautiful and lovingly-kept Victorian home with very friendly owners. Each room is uniquely decorated. Very pleasant terrace to have breakfast. Some breakfast items are homemade and the creton is delicious! This hotel deserves more than 2 star (it is only 2 star because it does not have AC and TV)

We like so many things about the hotel: the view from room and balcony and especially that from the restaurant is marvelous and serene; the location of the hotel on a little hill; the breakfast buffet; the fireplace ready to use, the spa tube and outdoor spa.
