Loved the spacious room, each of us had our own bedroom area with large bathroom between. Nice sitting area just outside our rooms in the hallway with windows looking out at the water. Easy to walk around town from the Auberge. The main house is very old and well kept, the additions with rooms are cleverly placed so there is lots of light. Didn’t try their breakfast room but that looks nice.

Very friendly staff, and really liked the location. It is on a quiet side road so there is minimal traffic noise and the views were great. It was nice to be able to park the truck and snowmobiles away from the main st. traffic and we could see it from the room. Lots of places nearby for food and entertainment.

Nice place if you want to spend time and visit the park.
Nice place if you want to spend time and visit the park. But if you are staying just for the night like us- stay away. Hidden fees for staying at the hotel. No one told us we had to pay for a park if you just sleep there. We did not walk around. But you can get into the park for free and walk around. So not happy about that.
Rooms were clean, food was good but more for people who are vegetarian. Service was great. Front desk service was OK.

Auberge du Vieux Faubourg was a quaint boutique hotel right on the river. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom is somewhat dated and could use an update but was still very clean. There were chairs on the deck outside our room to enjoy the evening however we had to enjoy the view through our window as it was a rainy and cold (10⁰ C) June evening. We ate at the nearby ‘Du Quai’. They are understaffed and it was slow to be seated and waited upon but the food was excellent.

We visited National Park of Gaspe and saw a moose close up. we walked on the beach and found some nice driftwood. We took the Park Aquarium tour for $20 which was a waste of time. TOmorrow we plan to go to Cap Chat for the tour of the giant wind turbine.

A sleepy sea/river-side town with a few good restaurants, a nice beach that is usually quiet, close to hiking venues, and with all the services one might need for a short stay. the folks are friendly and accommodating. we enjoyed visiting some local artisans, the local bakery (yum!), and looking at the wonderful sculptures by Claude Rioux.

Sainte-Anne-des-Monts has a great mix of sea and mountains.
Sainte-Anne-des-Monts has a great mix of sea and mountains. The Gaspesie national park with great hikes is a short drive away; the road to further out on the Gaspesie peninsula is well worth the drive. There are several good restaurants serving great sea food.

The room accommodation and restaurant was excellent, the included breakfast was good, and the location was very attractive. The staff even though very few spoke English, they did their best to find someone who did, and all of them were very friendly, and so the local people.
In front of the hotel there is a board walk on the edge of the water that connects to a pleasant park with activities (games), and to a nice trail into the woods, that was very nice.
This is a fantastic lodge set in its own unspoiled mountain playground. It is rare to have a high-class hotel found in such a stunning location without having to share with other tourists. The staff are superb, and the Guides had encyclopedic knowledge of the local area and the extensive wildlife. Nothing was too much. The lodge really felt like a 'home from home'. So many activites to do - hiking, canoeing, E-biking to name a few.
Everything was great. It actually exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, bathrooms and towels were very clean. The room has a fridge and microwave. They even had a sanitizer in the room. The place is close to SAQ, metro etc. And 30mins from gaspesie national park main reception. When yoi drive behind metro there is a lovely spot for sunrise and sunset.
The hotel, location, and owners were all so incredibly lovely. Watching the gulls fly over the sea from the balcony every day was such a peaceful treat. Perfect home base for our skiing trip to Gaspesie National Park (about 40 minute drive) and made our spring trip so memorable.
It's a new hotel. The design throughout is amazing. The furniture is comfortable. I loved the modern wooden stairs to the second floor and the terrace. There was even a hammock on the terrace. The restaurant was excellent too. Good food. There's free laundry on site (2nd floor).
Location was perfect, on a quiet street right across from the St-Lawrence River. It was a short walk to some quaint stores. Also only about a 30 minute drive to the Parc de la Gaspésie…a must see!! The room was large and cozy and had a little porch area with tables and chairs.
Our room had a nice table right outside the room where we could eat some meals. There was a microwave which we also used. A fridge is also in the room. The location is very good for visiting Gaspesie NP. Bathroom was very good.
Too bad a breakfast was not really available, since most restaurants in the community were closed Sundays and Mondays.
But, it was still the only hotel we've been in that had a towel warmer in the bathroom. Nice touch.
Reception staff were friendly and informative. Waterfront restaurants and bars along the river were only a short walk away. Good full breakfast at a reasonable cost was available across the street from the hotel.
Very nice room with high quality bathroom, bed, little table and chairs on the patio. Quality was beyond expectations for a typical hotel room and a great view for a good price.
If you don't want to camp, staying at the Gite du Mont Albert is the way to go, especially if you wish to enjoy a beautiful place in a comfortable setting.
