The secluded feels of this beautiful property despite being a few minutes from austin city center. Love the garden and the view from the resturant feels as if we were at a country estate. Definitely will be going back when the garden is in full blooms. Not sure how long they will have their house car, very helpful for us to be able to them during our trip.

The property itself looks pretty from the outside, but the common areas tell a different story. They felt somber and run down, not at all like the photos online. It seems like the place hasn’t been maintained well, which was a letdown.

About as close as I could get in a nice hotel to the Briscoe Center for American History and Latin American Library at UT. Variety of good breakfast choices at the hotel restaurant. Polite staff.
