It is best place to visit but in winters. Stay near city centre where all temples like Kashi Vishwanath are located, visit Ganga Ghats for aarti in the morning and evening and soak through the city vibes. Roads in Ayodhya are good from the airport to Temple.
Roads in Ayodhya are good from the airport to Temple. After that road work is not completed. So not convenient to travel by tuk tuk for old people. Uber/ Ola service do not work as expected. My ride to airport was 216 Rs while drivers said they would not come below 500 Rs. So I had to pay it. Tuk tuk costed 100 rs even for a 300 meter ride (for old parents). The place is good one time watch. But be careful with old people. My favourite places were Ram Janma Bhoomi temple, Hanuman Garhi and Guptar ghat. We ate via zomato mostly pizza. Lucknow being one of the oldest City having rich heritage, culture and delecious food is worth exploring. The traditional cloth market at Hazratganj and Ameenabad is worth exploring. The food joints are simply amazing. This is a mixture of old traditional city with modern facilities.
