We spent one full day at Bryce.
We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Sunrise at Bryce point was amazing.Guest review bySangramUnited States - 10.0
Springdale is a very nice town.
Springdale is a very nice town. It’s clean, nice hotels and nice restaurants with good food. The bus rides to Zion from the town and the buses taking you in the park to your hiking trails is very convenient. The town itself so easy to get around by car and most places are within walking distance if you prefer to walk. The town feels very safe which is a huge plus. Great place to vacation!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Only stayed in Kanab for one night and late in the afternoon. Loved the Toadstool Hoodoos which is located at the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument just before getting into Kanab and it is only a 1.7 mi RT hike. Loved Wild Thyme restaurant. Had their salmon dish and we shared a delish dessert. Went to Moqui Cave. Very interesting story of the lineage of the Hopi Cave told by the employees. It is very touristy but very cool to check out and if you are into rocks, gems, Native American jewelry, it is a must stop. They have wind caves there but didn’t have time for that. A beautiful area. Reminds me of a mini-Sedona. History of old Hollywood filming westerns in Kanab.Guest review byKristin - 10.0
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people.
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people. We were traveling through here when my husband was hospitalized for 5 days. Everyone, hospital staff, hotel owner, laundry mat, pharmacy, etc...were very helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good about it. My husband joked if he were younger, we would move there!Guest review byMulkin - 10.0

We have been visiting Cedar City for the past 8 years while our kids were attending Southern Utah University. We love the city and surrounding areas. There is so much to do, but in a small town. Views are beyond beautiful, and all the people are so kind. We will continue to visit, and possibly retire there.Guest review byWendyUnited States - 8.0
Quiet, friendly, family oriented town.
Quiet, friendly, family oriented town. I felt safe walking around the entire town any time of day or night. Prices were a little steep in all the stores and eateries as you would expect from a town so close to tourist attractions.Guest review bySaperstein - 6.0

There is not much in Hatch - we drove about 10-15 miles to Panguitch to Joe's Market for groceries. We did not have any meals in Hatch at whatever restaurants were there. Panguitch had several restaurants where we ate and enjoyed.Guest review byRebeccaUnited States - 10.0

I can't imagine how to get here during the winter being the highest base elevation at 9800 feet but in the spring, the drive was easy. A short 20 minute drive uphill from Parowan, the resort is fantastic. I chose Brian Head for its location between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Lots of activities available in during Spring and Summer. Looks like there are more condos being built. Very close to Cedar Breaks National Monument, the top of the Grand Staircase at over 10000 feet above sea level. If you are not use to high elevation, make sure you prepare yourself a week or two before your trip by staying hydrated and doing some slight cardio workouts. :-)Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0

Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, so there is beautiful scenery surrounding it and the nearby towns, including Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Grosvenor Arch. What's nice about Cannonville is that it's in a quiet little valley, so is less exposed to the coldest weather and the winds that buffet the higher, more exposed towns in the area. It's on Scenic Route 12, so any direction you travel has gorgeous scenery! A day trip up to Capitol Reef is a little over two hours' drive away, and there are breath-taking landscapes and views all along the way. Loved it!Guest review bykarenUnited States - 10.0
