the kitchen is fine for cooking a meal, the complimentary bikes were great to explore the area around Salzburg, the communication with the host, though entirely online, was clear, responsive and quick. This is one of the loveliest hotels in which I have ever stayed. Even though it sits next to a busy road, the hotel feels like one is out in the countryside with beautiful gardens, flowers, and the very style of the building and grounds. The interiors are beautifully and tastefully decorated with antiques and art work. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with fresh offerings. The dinners were very good and relaxing sitting at the white table clothed tables in the garden. The room was comfortable and very quiet. Bus to town is 5 minuets away. Great experience.
