The square in front of the hotel is like the set of a movie. The mairie, the gate to the abbaye, the beautiful hotel itself. Our room was spacious and decorated in purple.

We ordered dinner there both nights. It was truly excellent. Hat's off to the chef. The place had an enjoyable rustic charm. We also tried out the swimming pool which was at a pleasant temperature.

Located a 20-minute drive from Saumur and less than a 5-minute drive from Fontevraud L'Abbaye, Domaine de Roiffé is is set in 19th-century buildings.

Easy check in. The room we had 601 was approximately 200m from reception. The estate is huge .Loved the pool and the restaurant was good value. Ideal stop over on a St Malo to Nice bike ride.

Nice quaint place. Quiet with a good breakfast.

Demeure de la Vignole is a 17th century residence located in the Loire Valley. It offers an indoor heated swimming pool carved into the rock, just 3.1 mi from Fontevraud Abbey.
