Stunning location at the foot of a cliff deep in the canyon, with one of these amazing turquoise lakes litteraly at the doorstep of the resort. Very spacious rooms with amazing views. We can't praise the host enough - extremely kind and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. And the special treat - oud performance in the garden by the fire under the stars. This was an absolute highlight! It was our last evening in Oman, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer way to say goodbye. Very special!

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. At check-in, the receptionists Adil and Muzmil went above and beyond by giving me a free upgrade to an apartment, which was a wonderful surprise for birthday celebration. The apartment was neat, clean, and felt very new, making the stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was also good, with a nice variety and quality.

    A very pleasant and friendly city.

    A very pleasant and friendly city. The list of my favorite places would be much too long. Getting around with Otaxi is very practical. The National Museum, Zubair Museum and the Sultan Qaboos Grand Masjid are a must visit. For a nice coffee or refreshing drink, I recommend the café at Al Mirani Fort, overlooking the Al Alam Palace and the sea. Take a walk on one of the beaches at sunset. In the evening, I particularly love a walk in the park surrounding the Opera House, enjoying the rich perfume of the jasmin trees. My favorite restaurant is Homey for it's delicious Zanzibari food and great service.

    First day couldn't find a place to have breakfast in and we ended up searching for a mall and eventually having sandwiches at Starbucks No facilities for fun or family activities No decent restaurant but at malls and mostly expensive No facilities on beaches and the one in the most expensive compound Almouj is a clean beach but no showers or changing rooms or lounges

    PERFECT EXPERIENCE ... will stay again First of all Mohamed property owner is the nicest person I have met, he picked me from airport and dropped me at the airport. from the time of booking he gets in touch with me on whatsapp. Property is 5 mins drive from airport best location possible. Room very clean, nice and tidy, had everything in it required for nice stay. I would recommend 100% this property and especially Mohamed. I will definitely stay again if I get chance. thanks. Everything was good. NO issues at all. very good communication.

Nestled between the rugged Hajar Mountains and the serene Arabian Sea, Muscat offers a peaceful, reflective atmosphere that is rare in today’s capital cities. ✅ What I Loved: Architecture & Ambience: No towering glass buildings, but rather beautiful whitewashed structures, domes, and arches that respect traditional Omani design. People: Genuinely warm and polite. Whether in shops, cafés, or taxis, I felt welcome and respected at every turn. Cleanliness & Safety: Immaculately clean streets, quiet neighborhoods, and a strong sense of security. Walking at night felt completely safe. Food: Rich flavors, from Omani shuwa to fresh seafood and karak tea. Local restaurants and cafés are hidden gems. Sights to See: Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque – breathtaking design and spiritual tranquility. Muttrah Corniche & Souq – vibrant market and scenic coastal walkway. Royal Opera House – a mix of art, architecture, and refinement. ⚠️ What to Keep in Mind: Limited Public Transport: Taxis or renting a car are often necessary to move around. Early Closures: Many shops and venues close early, especially on Fridays. Climate: Summers are extremely hot—plan sightseeing in early mornings or cooler months (October to April). 🧭 Final Thoughts Muscat is not a city of chaos or flashiness—it's a place for those who appreciate culture over consumerism, peace over pace, and depth over distraction. A perfect destination for a thoughtful traveler or a restful getaway.

    1) All the staff were most helpfull, however the language barrier caused a minor hic-cup with the room service when ordering from the menu in my room. Staff took it upon themselves to ad-lib with food subsitutions from the set breakfast menu, without informing the customers. It was eventually sorted out. 2) The water pressure in the shower was very low, could do with improvement. 3) The swimming pool was not available for use untill May 2024. Other than those 3 issues the hotel represents value for money. I would stay again, but make sure the swimming pool was available for use.

    Greta place for relaxing, tours, nature, beach activities, culture and food .. every time I visit Muscat I discover something new and interesting, the country is very safe, priced right, food price is excellent, a lot and I mean a lot of activities to do, I normally spent at least 4 - 5 days during my visit to Oman and still I want to spend more. very cozy life and style which I love and adore a lot. Oman people are very nice and helpful when you need their help. Muscat is modern and traditional at the same time, not a lot of cement blocks, which I like a lot. Very green and colorful.

    Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center.

    Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center. Nothing to see there. So not many tourists there. But it is developing. Quiet long beach but no infrastructure. You need car to get to the center! There is a lively street food market in the night where you can get great food for low price.
