Our biggest disappointment was the “famous” El Pimpi restaurant which we had specifically booked ahead of our stay in Malaga. The staff were lack lustre and not much help. They referred us to the QR code for scanning to access the menu, which was a pain to use. The service was slow and only three of our four meals arrived. No one bothered to check if everything was ok so we had to physically flag down another member of staff to raise this issue. The response was more or less “it’ll be along shortly, don’t panic”. It wasn’t, and we didn’t cos the the food was not worth getting excited about. Very poor all round, will not be back. There are lots of really good eateries in Malaga that you don’t need to book ahead.Guest review byMervynUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Marbella and surroundings provides you with plenty entertainment options and things to see. Everything from high end places to quiet villages is within reach. Locations with thousands of years of history (Ronda, Malaga, Cordoba, Granada) are also within reach. Great beaches, delicious seafood, friendly people.Guest review bybosnyaka@freemail.huNetherlands - 6.0

The area around Bajondillo Beach (300-400m) is not suitable for families with children. These are beaches exclusively for the gay community. You are not even allowed to go to one beach with children. The gay community is very strong here, and associated with this is also public behavior right on the beach in the form of homosexual games, kissing and similar. I must say that even heterosexual couples do not behave so eccentrically in public! This location 300-400m is completely unsuitable for families with children, precisely because of the indiscriminate behavior of the gay community (5 gay guys on a large sunbed and ......)Guest review byAnonymousCzech Republic - 10.0

I was in Spain for the first time and I really liked Benalmadena. Of the beaches, I liked Playa Jose the most. Two sunbeds with umbrellas cost 14 euros. Very friendly beach manager. You can order a drink and food there, which is prepared in a cafe on the embankment. Be sure to visit Benalmadena Pueblo and enjoy the real Spanish atmosphere. On the embankment, I liked the cafe The Sootn Beach with very tasty food. Nearby is a place with homemade ice cream. The Aquarium restaurant had excellent food and a very friendly owner, who explains in English about any dish.Guest review byIrynaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

I was incredibly lucky to choose this town for my accommodation! I knew nothing about it, I just chose the cheapest hostel that was also beautiful and had the best reviews, and was close to the beach. And it was a hit! It's a small town, but there are lots of great supermarkets and restaurants. There's a chic flea market nearby on Sundays. The beaches are absolutely incredible, and there's the Balcony of Europe. Overall, it's a great balance of tourist life.Guest review byOlenaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Estepona is a beautiful place.
Estepona is a beautiful place. All of the white washed old town charm of Marbella, but with a more relaxed vibe. Fabulous restaurants, chilled bars, chiringuitos with fantastic seafood, good shops and close enough for a day trip to Gibraltar, which is definitely worth a look.Guest review byKellySpain - 10.0
Ronda was a beautiful city.
Ronda was a beautiful city. Seemed like a lot of history and great buildings and bridges. We visited the Chinchilla winery in the outskirts of Ronda and had a beautiful tasting with Tapas. Amazing. We wanted to stay longer but had to get to Seville in a timeline.Guest review byMonique - 10.0

Beautiful location, excellent cheap municipal car park but gets busy early evening, lots of restaurants, people helpful and friendly, great views of the Med, supermarkets well stocked. Feel sorry for the horses and donkeys taking the tourists around the town in their carriages and their backs.Guest review byDerekUnited Kingdom - 10.0

we had never been to Torre Del Mar before and really liked it. It is a holiday resort visited by mostly Spanish people and as a result the food is better and good value compared with other places on the Costa Del Sol. We ate at Casa Lolo, La Brassiere and Grigio Pikilia There's a lovely entertainment area for children at the beach and each evening there is live entertainment at the Paseo Maritimo You can access Velez Malaga with it's historic old town, by bus, plus Caleta Velez, Torrox and Nerja.Guest review byLeckie
