From the moment we arrived, the hostess was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Although she doesn’t speak English or German, she made every effort to communicate effectively with us using Google Translate, which worked smoothly. The apartment itself is spacious and thoughtfully equipped. It includes a washing machine (with detergent provided), a drying rack, air conditioning, a balcony with a lovely view of the Danube, and a well-stocked kitchen featuring cookware, dishes, utensils, basic spices and oil, a cooktop, oven, microwave, as well as tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is also convenient—just 30 meters from a small market that carries most essentials. While the selection of fresh produce was inconsistent, we were pleasantly surprised to find bread there, which was not available at the two bakeries in town. A few considerations for future guests: the apartment is located on the third floor with no elevator, so it does involve climbing three flights of stairs. However, the panoramic view more than makes up for it. As we were traveling by bicycle, we appreciated the arrangement the hostess made with a nearby business owner—just 20 meters away across a pedestrian path—to securely store our bikes. The location is adjacent to the police station and under video surveillance. The gentleman even covered our bikes, and we felt they were very safe, especially in a smaller town like this. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to return

Amazing, phenomenal host who met all our requirements. We liked everything about accommodation, lots of space and light in the room. Clean, comfortable apartment and huge parking lot in front of the building. The location is high ten, in the very center of the beautiful Milanovac town with unforgettable sunsets. We will definitely be happy to come back again.

The daughter of the apartment's owner was incredibly prompt and attentive, always ready to assist us with our inquiries through Booking.com and Viber. Her helpfulness set a positive tone for our stay. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by her parents, whose friendly smiles made us feel right at home. the Jonovi's are great people, despite language barriers, we were able to communicate using google translator and receive great info. The views from their place are amazing. We paid for dinner and breakfast, which was not just delicious but also abundant! can't wait to visit Serbia and the Jonovi's again

    Great area to visit.

    Great area to visit. Tourism is still in its infancy, so there are not many restaurants; however, there are quite a few monasteries and fortresses to see, including the famous Tabula Trajana, dedicated to the Roman emperor, carved into the rock over the Djerdap gorge. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings will amaze almost everyone. Recommended.

    A pleasant small town located in a picturesque area.

    A pleasant small town located in a picturesque area. There is a promenade and some nice restaurants. There isn’t much to see in the town itself, but you can explore the surroundings, visit the Cave, see the Iron Gate or Golubac Fortress, and more.

    An excellent starting point for a pleasant boat trip along the Danube, in the Iron Gate gorge and for a visit to the medieval fortress Glubac. If you like local fish or grill, eat them in a restaurant Lepenska ribica .

    Malo mesto na obali Dunava, sa više restorana i kafića,...

    Malo mesto na obali Dunava, sa više restorana i kafića, prodavnica, bankom, benzinskom i autobuskom stanicom i uređenom plažom, lukom i šetalištem. Decenijama je orijentisan prema turizmu pa ima dosta privatnog smeštaja. Hotel Lepenski vir je zapušten ali se mogu naći lepe sobe za iznajmiti. Centar u 2023. se renovira, pa će se videti u kom pravcu će se razvijati. Odlična lokacija sa obilazak okoline - Lepenskog vira, Fetisalam tvrđave u Kladovu ili šetnji po prirodi, recimo poseta vidikovcu Ploče, sa najlepšim pogledom na Dunav (i "Kazan") i Nacionalnom parku Đerdap.

    We visited in early July.

    We visited in early July. Sleepy village during the day but came alive at night with locals and tourists. However, noise did not go late. Lovely view and great location for exploring Derdap Park. On the weekend there is a free local performance of Sebian culture.
