Town has lots of events and festivities. We ate at the BEST restaurant! If you are looking for a Great meal, good atmosphere, and amazing prices, you must eat at the 1855 Steakhouse and seafood company. I would drive 90 minutes just to eat there again!!! The food was Amazing!

A genuine Texas town with a rich history and truly still rich in hospitality! The Fig Tree bed and breakfast is a must! The Piney Woods train ride was very enjoyable. Don't miss going to old town and experiencing some really cool shopping with a mix of old and new. I might have to move here!! Lots of good choices for eating! We ate at Pronto's and had the best gyro's ever. You'll love all the big southern homes too.Kim

Love that we always have a mini fridge and microwave. The last few times the biscuits were hard as a rock or still dough. Aside from that I have zero complaints.
