I believe India's fourth largest populous city, so it's huge. Liked the Tuk Tuk rides in crazy city traffic. The museums were good plus amazing Hindu temples. The general vibe of a large Indian city. Felt always safe.

Must visit. People are warm. Culture is open ended. Malls especially amba is my all time favourite. Had food from mainly vegetarian restaurants. I would avoid taking taxi next time as public transport is still perfect in chennai. Getting around in taxi and auto is faster in this city. You can take a walk even in the night as people are respectful towards fellow human beings.

Beautiful place and nice people, though it was said, they only talk in Tamil, I found it incorrect coming from North India, they helped, in trains, taxi, Ola etc. Nice food. Good beaches, very good traveling measures, nice places around Chennai too.
Only it was hot for me...

Chennai is a surprisingly modern city in that its facilities and modes of transport are smooth and seamless. The metro is very convenient. The residents of Chennai, especially at their professions, have a pleasant professionalism and competence. While Chennai is warm, it isn't uncomfortably so.

Chennai is a huge, noisy, dirty city with horrendous traffic and very few tourist attractions. We only stayed there for a night at each end of our trip as we flew into and out of Chennai airport. I wouldn't bother spending any more time there than is necessary for transit to be honest.

Shopping in Chennai is good, but due the on going metro phase 2 works the city is conjusted with hravy traffic. As the city itself is connected with the sea the climate particularly now is very hot and humid

The location in Nungambakkam was also ideal, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Whether you're a business traveler or a tourist exploring Chennai, Gsilver Nungambakkam offers a chic and contemporary retreat that's sure to impress.
We had a wonderful stay at The Raintree! The hotel is beautifully maintained, clean, and in a great location to explore Chennai. The breakfast service is excellent, witha great selection of foods including freshly prepared South Indian dishes. We also tried the Chinese restaurant on site and had a brilliant experience with really tasty food. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely kind, helpful and attentive. The facilities - in particular the pool and rooftop area - were also really nice.
An excellent option for people who are transiting from chennai airport which is just a stone throw distance from the hotel. Rooms are very good, Restaurant food is excellent all in all a very good value for money. We stayed there for just a night the employees Mr. Anand, Miss Gayatri and Miss Shalini and Their cook Mr. Raju are exceptionally helpfull in assisting me roam around chennai to see places. Name it and the'll help you. Very nice and friendly persons.

It was a pleasure for us to stay at FabExpress Joel Inn Hotel in Chennai India and we enjoyed thoroughly. Hospitality was of the highest standard and we cannot thank you enough for everything GM Punit and his staff have done for us. Special thanks to Punit and the staff involved in helping our son with coconut water, ORS and medications when he felt sick. Even the kitchen staff served my sick son special meals like soup etc. as he was not well and did not have much appetite.
I reached Chennai from Bangalore after 7-hr drive at 1 am and saw the gate was closed. Called the manager and the manager on duty simply refused to accept the fact that there was a booking under my name despite me sharing my booking confirmation ID and just chased me out. This was perhaps the worst experience I have ever seen. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want to book for a hotel in Chennai, please find yourself some other place than this place.
I had a wonderful experience at the GT Grade...Rooms are neat and clean...very comfortable.... it was awesome...Staff's was amazing and polite... they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable...The service was exceptional as well...the Front office staff were well trained...this was the top hotel in Chennai...one more thing...In Restaurant facility also available...it alsooo tasty and spicy on budget price... Everything awesome...
Very clean, friendly, professional, and near the main railway stations. The room was freshly and stylishly decorated, with no loose wires like one often gets in Indian hotels. The bed was comfortable, the air-con and fan worked perfectly, great internet connection.Desk staff very helpful and friendly. Recommend this place for a stopover in Chennai if you need to catch a train elsewhere.
Everything third biggest hotel in India from the information we were given . It’s perfect with lots of restaurants and great food .Towers rooms are very big and includes Mock tails and snacks . The staff bend over backwards to help . We stay every time we travel to Chennai and have never had a need to stay anywhere else .
The location of the hotel is excellent as it is in the heart of the city and can be accessed easily from all parts of Chennai. The front desk staff Tanveer was courteous and polite and ensured that I was comfortable in my room and he had in fact upgraded me to a studio suite considering my short stay at the hotel
This is my go to place when I am in Chennai. Centrally located and near major transportation. The hotel is new construction, new furnishings. Bed are comfortable, staff super helpful, and management is doing a great job running the place efficiently. Highly recommend.
Budget hotel to stay in Chennai, near the Chennai Beach train station, and also easy to move around and go to other areas of the city with taxi/tuktuk. The room, bed, and toilet were clean and well-equipped. Helpful and nice staff running the place
Excellent hotel with very friendly staff, all facilities were good and all requests were fullfilled ala minute. Receptionist Selva, room attendant Pandiyan were very helpfull. Would surely stay in same hotel next time when we visit Chennai.
Very kind and helpful Nalini, cozy room with beautifully and everything was super clean! Felt very comfortable and safe here and it was within walking distance of supermarket. I would highly recommend the Secret House.
Excellent location. Close to shopping, restaurants and various places within Chennai. Felt pretty safe in the hotel since I travelled alone. Staff were very helpful and took care of me like family when needed.
