The area was a nice and quiet place, with a great view of the water. Not too hard to access the water. Weather during our trip was a bit hot out, so didn't get to stay in the water for too long. But so many places to rent a boat or jet ski and just hang out at the water.DavidCanada - 4.0Scored 4.0
No water for shower unless you find caretaker and request.
No water for shower unless you find caretaker and request. Parking a long way from cabin. To get your $150 deposit back you have to do a full clean of the cabin (sweep, mop, clean garbage bins etc). No microwave or electric kettle. A lot of work for a single nights stay.

Blind Bay is part of a very large waterway that seems well used by boat lovers. We stayed in a tranquil part of the area and enjoyed morning walks and refreshing views. One afternoon we saw a large flock of geese cross the main road while cars waited patiently. There is little traffic around the Bay plus a great shop called the Village Grocer.

Really helpful in booking us a table at the local pizzeria too (who were brilliant and a short walk or drive away). Comfy bed, nicely decorated bathroom with great shower. (Side note - best hairdryer I used all road trip! And nice to have a homely feel amongst staying in hotels). Breakfast was home-cooked, really tasty and reasonably priced. New dishes for us to try too.
