It has a big supermarket very close. More than anything, the host was very nice and they are living very close so it was convenient to ask for help. Our members included small kids and old parents and were all weak to cold temperatures. The host was very kind to keep the room warm enough. Our kids enjoyed their garden swing chair and were happy for feeding their cat. Thank you we enjoyed Locarno and were happy at your place.

La Corte dell’Ulivo is a cozy apartment in the heart of the old town, close to supermarkets and restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by the host with chocolate cakes on the first day. The kitchen is perfect, the apartment is clean and smells great. Super comfy and lovely place to stay!

Room was very comfortable - spacious studio with big windows and curtains, comfortable bed, lots of places to hang things, useful amenities (comes up with combo shampoo/body wash and soap, lots of towels; kitchen well-stocked with tiny snacks and condiments in addition to kitchen supplies). No AC, but I came in August and there was a fan, but didn't need it because plenty of airflow from just opening the windows. Location - in a more "residential" and quiet part of Locarno, but the town is pretty compact so you're within 7 min of a central bus stop and 15-20 min to the main train station. They give you a manual and instructions so it's easy to self check-in. I had to go to an event at BLU restaurant, and the apartment was very close by (yay!).
