Self-Catering Accommodations in Colonno

The host was incredibly nice and made us feel welcome! She gave us a large binder filled with things to see, places to go, and restaurants to visit. It was lovely! The location along with the balcony in our apartment was beautiful! We will absolutely stay here again if we can!

Our stay at Mason Denise was excellent. The host contacted us prior to our travel and provided help on public transportation we needed to take. He met us at the bus stop, helped with our luggage, and showed us around the property. He also arrived the day we left to ensure everything was okay and collected the keys. The day we arrived the host drove us to the next town to get food from the store for our kids since the local supermarket was closed. The house was amazing and cute. It had everything we needed including in the kitchen. The views from the house were AMAZING of Lake Como. It was easy to take the local bus and boat to Bellagio and other towns like Varenna to see the beautiful sights. We had a wonderful experience with this property and with the hosts and highly recommend it!

Gorgeously renovated. Strong AC

It was a beautifully renovated old Italian building. Very near to the waterfront of Lake Como. The interior of the loft with was beautifully decorated. Having two full bathrooms was a huge bonus for our family of six. Also having ac was great as it was hot while we were there. We also took advantage of the excellent breakfast buffet at the Aurora Hotel, as well as the ristorante there, and the paid waterfront activities. All the staff there were super friendly.

Rosy was my favorite part! I arrived late and she made sure to make me a reservation at the restaurant as soon as I arrived! Right next to the San Giovanni secret beach and about 30 minute walk to all the best restaurants and bellagio pier

The pool was perfect! Great location, right next to bus stop, short walk to beach and great bars. Apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great size shower with continuous hot water and AC in living and both bedrooms. Really great for our family!

Nice and quiet place, really comfortable and well stocked with various amenities. I had everything I needed for a week-long stay. The apartments are located outside of Bellagio, right next to the southern entrance to Villa Melzi, but it's only about 15 minutes walk to the town center (I was going to the town every morning for breakfast). Free access to Villa Melzi's gardens turned out an amazing benefit, not only because the gardens themselves are absolutely gorgeous, but also because you can cut through them to the town, avoiding a climb to a hill that the conventional road takes :D I loved the place very much, and would definitely consider staying there if I come to Bellagio again.

This apartment is in a truly unique location with a very authentic atmosphere. It can only be reached on foot, and you'll need to climb a few stairs, so be prepared for a short hike. However, it's absolutely worth it. The narrow mountain streets, beautiful evening lighting, and locals enjoying the evenings create a charming experience that really lets you feel the character of the village. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well, which made the stay even more enjoyable. There was also a small garden and a rooftop terrace, both perfect for relaxing. The lake and beach are just a 5-minute walk away, and there are restaurants nearby as well. Richard was an excellent host. He sent a very detailed video showing exactly how to reach the apartment, which was incredibly helpful - without it, we probably wouldn't have found the place on our first attempt. He also provided clear instructions for the free parking available in the village square. The location is ideal if you're traveling by car or scooter, as it's a great base for exploring the surrounding villas. Overall, this apartment offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian village experience.

Great apartment location in Colonno

The apartment is so nice and clean and the view of the Colonno by Lake Como is very stunning.

We loved staying at this apartment and Mirella was a fantastic host! She met us as we stepped off the bus and took us to the apartment and showed us around. Mirella had the place fully stocked with food, wine and fruit. It was wonderful. The lake was right outside our window. The pull out sofa bed was comfortable. I loved how fun it was to walk the greenway!

The location is tucked away with beautiful views. It feels like you’re one of the locals!
