The property was beautiful and very cozy. A family cottage at the base of Mount Etna where we were able to enjoy views (over the treetops) of Etna spewing a bit of lava in the distance at night. We loved the authenticity of the cottage and the privacy all while being conveniently located on the edge of a small town. Antonio and his sons are wonderful and very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again if we get the chance. Thank you for everything! 🙂

Very nice accommodation near Etna. The house is located on pleasant leafy street. The host was helpful and answered our questions promptly. There was a nice courtyard with barbecue and sitting area on the ground level. The apartment was on the first floor. It was large, well furnished and very clean. It offered comfort for one night or for longer stays. The kitchen was well equipped. There was water in the refrigerator and a selection of local wines for purchase. The bathroom had all necessary toiletries. The area was very quiet. Breakfast was offered in the bakery round the corner. We told cashier that we stay at Al Cortile and we got coffee and goodie. The bakery has a very good and tasty selection.

The host Ruben went out of his way to be helpful and speaks very good English. The location is excellent, just minutes to the main road and bars and restaurants, yet it's very quiet and peaceful at the property. Very nicely appointed. Would recommend without question.

Fabrizio met us at 1810, showed us around the place and even suggested a good nearby restaurant. Needless to say the pizza was great. The home was very large, the tv was easy to use for Netflix, beds and heating were comfortable. I highly recommend this place if your traveling or need a place to stay prior to flying out of catania. Oh, you have a great view of mt. Etna nearby too.
