Self-Catering Accommodations in Kananke

The house is very nice and in a private location that is peaceful and calm. His family greeted us upon arrival and were very kind and accommodating. The house is gorgeous inside and out and we loved being able to wake up there each day. It is only about an 8 minute drive to the beach but having our scooter was convenient. Cozy and truly something out of Pinterest! Definitely check it out if you’re in the Weligama area!

Location was nice, with well maintained rooms and pool.

The property is so clean, we have a lot of facilities like washing machine, refrigerator and a private kitchen. Also the host is providing us Sri Lanka local food and it’s really healthy and yummy👌🏻 I really recommend staying in this place🌸

The property is excellent with an excellent host. I also got food from them which I found to be some of the best Sri Lankan food I’ve had.

The villa is huge, beautiful, well-maintained, and clean. It has everything you need for the perfect vacation. We especially loved the outdoor shower! The view here is stunning, the villa is right on the lakefront, and the entire atmosphere is pastoral and quiet. Additionally, the location is great—it's close to both Weligama and Ahangama, making it very easy to get to the center. The host is very pleasant and helpful, he assisted us with everything we needed and made sure we had everything. Highly, highly recommended, and we will definitely be back again!

I liked that the house was always clean and cozy, with plenty of space. You have access to a wonderful balcony where you can spend your days and evenings. The bed is comfortable, and the hosts are very hospitable—you can reach out to them with any questions, and they are always ready to help. Bed linens are changed once a week. The location is away from roads and noisy areas, ensuring a peaceful sleep. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Brand new furniture new room.the outdoor pool and garden offered a great space for relaxation. The properly was clean ane comfortable area. The staff was very Friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommended it.10/10

The villa is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the jungle. Totally worth the distance from the city; it’s the ideal place to rest your head in a little piece of paradise. Mando, our host, made sure we had everything we needed and arranged a tuk-tuk service for us at a great price, available throughout our entire stay. We truly enjoyed a perfect experience.
