Highland Cabins and Cottages at Bronte Park offer self-contained accommodation in Bronte. Free private parking is available on site. This place is located in such a remote area that we couldn’t help but wonder, “How could there be accommodation out here?” (Though, that’s quite common in Tasmania!) We stayed here for one night on our way from Hobart to Lake Dove, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, it wasn’t scary at all—probably because it was fully booked. We were warmly welcomed by the very kind Gloria, and you could feel the owner’s thoughtful touches throughout the property. There was a washing machine inside our unit, and a high-performance dryer available in the shared laundry. The fireplace worked wonderfully, keeping us warm and cozy, and at night, we were lucky enough to see the Milky Way. It was a night we will long for, for the rest of our lives.

Sullivans Cove Apartments is situated in 5 different locations across the Hobart Waterfront area, within a 15-minute walk from Hobart CBD (Central Business District). It was extraordinary beautiful, the staff was so friendly, the apartment so luxurious and well equiped. Great location, central and safe. I would come again in an instant!

Located directly on the banks of Tasmania’s Mersey River, Discovery Parks - Devonport features a children’s playground and a games room. The location was lovely by the beach. Fantastic playground. Cabins were well appointed, comfortable and super clean

Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance. This is a very sweet cabin nestled in the forest with amazing animals all around. We were visited by pademelons and black currawongs every morning. Very comfortable beds, very clean, warm and comfortable, reception staff welcoming and helpful and attentive, super close to transport bus to park and information centre, so relaxing and cozy. We loved it!
