So helpful with advice, always ready with tea/coffee and orange juice whenever we appeared. Let us check in early no problems. The room is comfortable, really nice view of the surrounding karsts. The village the hotel is set in is really scenic and quaint. And easy to travel to Guilin from. Could bro recommend this wonderful hotel more.

Our host May spoke excellent English and was able to organize our trip from Guilin to Ping’an as well as assist us with planning our day. The accommodation has a very nice family-like atmosphere. We got to eat great local dishes and taste local wine. We had great views of the rice terraces from our balcony.

Our stay was really great. Diana was very communicative before our arrival. We wanted to visit Longji rice terraces which is quite far and required a private driver. She organised this for us and the driver was punctual, safe and kind. Diana even printed instructions for us in Chinese to ask locals for directions as we wanted to hike and organised an earlier breakfast before our depart. The location is really ideal. Is far enough removed from the city which was perfect for us. You can access it easily via didi, bus or rental of a moped from the hotel. It right next to rafting (5min walking) and about 30 min from hiking/viewpoints via moped. So right in the middle of attractions Breakfast was plentiful w western and Chinese options. Room was large and clean and bed was comfortable. Given its rainy season there were many mosquitos as expected but they équiped us with zappers, incense and curtains around the bed. The only bites I got were while outside

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Serene Cove. The rooms and the premise are beautiful and offer a perfect view on Guilin scenic mountains. The owners who run the place are incredibly heartwarming and caring for their guests, they made sure that our stay would be as fun and special as possible. Their food from breakfast to dinner including afternoon cake is made with love and you can truly taste it. This place felt like home we were so sad to leave, it will always have a special place in our hearts. We can’t way to go back next time we travel to China, and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Our room had million dollar view. It was spacious. The giant bath was fun and relaxing. The outdoor kitchen with best view. The use of the washing machine, hang dry on porch. The staff were nice & helpful. There is a lovely river walk 1/2 block away. Great street food, bakery, vegetable & fruit stores & restaurants. Good location.

I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.

The elegant environment and well-equipped hotel design cleverly blends traditional and modern elements, preserving the essence of local culture. The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities and meticulous attention to detail, making people feel the warmth and comfort of home. Especially in the river view room, lying in bed, you can enjoy the flowing scenery of the Li River outside the window, as if you are the person in the painting, blending in with nature. The service is attentive and the staff at the hotel have a very good attitude. From check-in to check-out, every step makes people feel at home and warm. They not only enthusiastically and thoughtfully answered my various questions, but also took the initiative to help me carry my luggage, which made me feel very considerate.
