The apartment is inside a retirement home which is a great idea. It features a pool, fitness, restaurant, bar. The apartment was spacious and super comfortable with a huge balcony and a nice view. Even the breakfast is included in the very low price. You can’t find any better at this price. Everything was just perfect.

We spent 2 nights at the gite and had a wonderful time. Beautiful location, big comfy bed and Daniel was a great host. We appreciated that the small kitchen was actually well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc, for cooking. Excellent quality for the price.

The location was idyllic, the river running outside our window, chickens in the yard, a beautiful mill pond. Easy to walk into the village but tucked just far enough away to feel like you are in the countryside. Our room was very pleasant and breakfast while simple was very tasty. Our visit was in the off season so choices at the restaurant were limited but the host was happy to tailor the meal to our preferences. The ambiance in the restaurant was lovely, like a family meal in a farmhouse kitchen with a roaring fire. Comfort food in a comfortable setting. The host was happy to show off the old on-site hydro electric plant that he had restored and which quietly provided far more electricity than the hotel requires.

Absolutely incredible experience staying in medieval building in a very nice city. The apartment was very clean and the host was amazing and agreed to wait for us when we got stuck in traffic and were coming late.
