The Cartlodge was a lovely place to stay, it has all the amenities you need for a night away or a longer stay! We found it so relaxing, comfortable and cosy, shame we couldn’t stay for longer. We would highly recommend it!

Turns out I had booked the wrong date somehow. But it didn’t matter. We were invited into their home, got to meet the dog’s, were made a pot of tea and they fit us in and got the little barn ready for us. Truly above and beyond. The little barn itself is amazing! Perfect mixture of modern and cozy. We didn’t even leave. I would 100% return, perhaps when the weather is a bit better so we can explore a little.

In spite of being small, it has been freshly renovated with such excellent use of space, my family of 4 adults were very comfortable. The half bath downstairs was tiny but perfect for a second toilet. Efficient stocked kitchen was a pleasure as well as the lovely little back patio. Lots of whimsical decorations, children would love this cottage. Everything was clean and lacked nothing. Framlingham is a charming village. I highly recommend this lovely cottage. You will not be disappointed with this stay.

Everything! After a long journey, I walked into property to find coffee and milk in the fridge. Got things sorted after my coffee ha ha , then was greated by the owner . A warm welcome explained everything. Clean and tidy . The bed was fantastic had a good night's sleep.

We had a great stay. The cottage was very clean and comfy. It was the perfect place to stay after visiting the town and different places during the whole day. We had a fantastic break in the cottage. Moreover, the location is great and the neighborhood is very quiet. IT was very easy to park the car. If we visit Bury St. Edmunds in the future, we will book this accommodation again.
