This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

The bathroom has a washer: dryer combo. This was our mid trip laundry stop. The town is cute and walkable.

The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.
