Right in the middle of the pedestrian cobblestone area of Faro, 5 mins walk from the old town and harbour. Whilst it was very central it was also well insulated against sound so no problems with it being noisy at night. Also, we had the top floor Nordic Apartment and it had a little roof terrace which was perfect for sitting to have a glass of wine.

The Roots is a great hotel! I can't recommend it more. My room was comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed. The hotel is in a great location for seeing Faro. Situated a 5-minute walk from Mareta Beach, Pontalaia offers apartments with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the Atlantic Ocean or Sagres. Guests can benefit from a gym and sauna. We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was lovely and very clean. The location was excellent, and the gym was perfectly adequate.

Vila Luz offers self-contained accommodation overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from a cliff among landscaped gardens. The property was lovely, rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and breakfast was really nice. Really comfy beds!

Spacious, clean, the location is perfect; we were able to walk to all the tourist attractions. Communication was excellent; we had a few minor hiccups that were quickly resolved.
