As we were staying for several nights we opted to have the traditional Japanese breakfast, served in the Sky Restaurant, for one of our breakfasts. Staff were attentive in explaining every aspect of the meal and how the food was prepared. The location of the hotel in the tower over the station suited our transport plans in being conveniently close to both train and the hire car office that we used.

Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kutchan, like skiing, horse riding and cycling. The hotel is fairly new, very well appointed, and a great location with enough things to do in Hanazono. The thing we appreciated most was the hospitality -- the staff were very attentive and helpful, from the front desk, room service and in-house dining. Our room had a beautiful view, the beds and beddings were great. We actually had the best sleep here.
