Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

The area is popular for skiing, and ski equipment hire is available at this 5-star hotel. amazing place- we were there in April and it snowed our first night! we managed to get half a day on Happo when it opened (it shuts due to wind a lot) and then a day on 47 which was incredible. Not a lot of restaurants open as it’s end of season, and a lot seemed to be booked out (small local Happo ones). We always managed to find somewhere though although would have preferred more Japanese options!
